55Fantastic spot, easy to find. So much room to run the zoomies out.
55Lovely property. My pups had a great time. We will be back for sure.
55Fun to see the llamas and alpacas, and wear our dog out.
55Such a great spot! Fully fenced and water/toys available. The alpacas and llamas were so fun to be around!
55We love this place! It’s so quiet and peaceful out there. The pasture is the perfect place to let the dogs run and play! Thank you for letting us visit! We will be back soon.
55This fenced sniff spot with alpacas is a dream for my two Australian shepherds! They had a blast running around and looking at the friendly alpacas. The setup was perfect for them to explore and burn off some energy. The safety of the fence gave me peace of mind while they had their fun. We will definitely be back for more adventures at this unique and exciting spot!
55This was our first visit and my dogs had such a good time and immediately came home and went to take a nap! My Pyrenees loved watching the llamas and alpacas as well as sniffing the 3 different sections. My lab loved having lots of room to chase her ball. It was also really nice there was some shade for both my dogs as they get hot fast and spent about half the visit laying in the shade hanging out. Ellie was also very kind and responded fast via chat which i really appreciate it. Very excited for my dogs to have some quail eggs too! We will definitely be back (:
55Awesome place to run a large dog! Plenty of room to throw tennis balls, especially using all 3 pastures. And as pastures go they were all very clean.
55The spot is great and the host was very accommodating and communicative! And of course the alpacas were adorable.
55Always a treat to come here and let my dogs play fetch. Llamas and alpacas were a little shy today but eventually came out to say hello!

Description

We are an active alpaca and sheep farm in Auburn. As owners of reactive dogs in the past we know how important it is to have a place to bring your dog to run around! We hope that a calm and large area as well as farm animal sightings will make you love the farm as much as we do! Please be aware there will be people walking around randomly, we are an active farm and as we enter spring we are having babies that need around the clock care! If your dog is extremely reactive please message me and i’m sure we can figure something out for you. Also there is an area in the fencing of our sniff spot that is big enough for some dogs to fit through. Thank you and please let me know if you questions.

Cleanliness

90% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There is some poop and mud, we are an active farm but we will do our best to clean up for our guests! There is some areas in the gates that are about a foot wide so please be aware. Right next to the sniffspot there is alpacas and llamas they love to watch the dogs play but don’t want to greet them. If your dog gets too close they might spit.

We have a five acre alpaca farm in Auburn WA. As owners of reactive dogs ourselves we know how important it is to have a place for a dog to run around without any triggers. We are an active farm so there is poop and mud though we try to keep it to a minimum. I hope you enjoy our small fenced in area!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries! Toss garbage away at the top driveway as you exit in the large gray bin marked "Garbage".
