55We were so touched by the big heart Diana clearly has for dogs and how special she has made the place. Such a lovely location and personal setting to play with your pup. It was a little too wet to wander on the trails but our Nala got worn out playing for an hour in the 1 acre field just fine. We will definitely be back when the sunshine is to explore around!
55Fantastic little spot for my reactive girl and I to play fetch and get her energy out. Amazing for the price as well.
55Really green and spacious, water takes a bit of pumping but it works just fine. The fencing confused me for a second, as I couldn't find the entrance, but look for the white sticks and pull up and out to get in. Really appreciate the toy box and trash set up. Bring mosquito spray!
55Great spot! The main fenced area was great for fetch, we checked out the wooded area a bit but my dog prefers sticking to trails so we didn't go too far in. It'd be great if your pup likes off-roading.
55Peaceful, safe, nicely moved yard with plenty of space to play fetch or practice recalls. Mixed sun and shade. First spot we've been to that included a first aid kit. That was appreciated. The fence was perfect for our dogs. We didn't explore the forest since it was a little boggy. We'll be back after the sun dries it out. Our crew were tired after only 45 min. That's how we know it's a great Sniffspot. Excellent location.
55For my "bog dogs" this was paradise! Nice lawn space for running and fetch. Great woodsy space for tramping around in the woods. The woods are rugged and marshy right now, but again, exactly what my dogs love. Wear sturdy boots and maybe bring a walking stick. The fenced area is adequate to keep most dogs in. My boy is an escape artist and found he could go under or over. He didn't do it, but always checks it out. Fabulous time for our adventure dogs!
55I loved it here! What a great spot to take our pack!! The yard was quiet and peaceful, totally secure and comfortable with sun and shade! This is so close to home, it will be one of our regular spots! Thank you for having us! We appreciate you! We will be back soon:)

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

The woods have old ATV tracks that are often full of water. There are wetlands, and lots of blackberry brambles. Watch your step and trust no puddles! You may want to bring muck-friendly boots until it dries out later in the summer. It is very dark at night, so bring a flashlight. We are looking into lighting for the near future. There is a lot of raptor activity in this area, including resident bald eagles, and a surly Great Horned Owl who likes to yell at us at night. He doesn't pose a threat, but is more like an avian version of the Get Off My Lawn guy.

Host replied: Thank you, Faye! I'm so happy you guys had a good time :) I'm planning to clean up the wooded area now that the weather is better, and creating a loop trail. See you next time!

Hi, neighbors! My name is Diana, and I've lived in Buckley for almost 20 years. As a rescuer of many mistreated dogs, I know how important it is to have a safe spot for them, whether they are reactive, fearful, unsocialized, or all of the above. This is a safe, calm space where your fur-babies can run free, without concern of other animals or people. There are currently 4 rescues living here, including my retired SAR partner Harry, who just turned 16! They will be secured inside the residence during visits, and will not be visible. We'd love to share our beautiful space, because all pups deserve to be a country dog now and then! Proceeds go to the 15/10 Foundation, helping shelter dogs with medical/behavioral issues become more adoptable.
