Description

Located at dead end street. Extremely private & natural setting that will make you think you're in the Ozarks in southern Missouri. Natural flowing spring water on carboniferous sandstone from over 300 million years ago. First trees fossilized in the sandstone. They were called "scale trees". The property is down fairly steep escarpment. Rope is available for security while descending. It's not as steep as I'm describing,Lol. Photos you will be taking because of sheer natural beauty throughout the karst valley. Respect the surrounding neighborhood by not allowing your dog to repeatedly bark non-stop. Also no loud hollering for dog repeatedly. Dog must be well behaved & respond to its owners commands. No leash is allowed with the responsibility of above. You will be allowed extended 15 minutes over your hour if nobody has booked directly after you. Please respect the property & clean up after yourself and especially your dog is enforced. None compliance of this will result in immediately being banned from site. Enjoy our little getaway & enjoy life as well. Thanks, Michael. $5 for 30 minutes.

Our property’s back yard has a large lake, which is why it is listed as “partially”fenced. Otherwise, it is fully fenced. So if your furbaby is a swimmer, they will LOVE it here! There is a ramp leading directly into the water near our dock. However if your fur baby loves to swim TOO much and decides to exit the lake on the opposite side of our property, then you may have to hop in your car and retrieve them around the block, but If they have good recall, awesome! Lots of shade, and wildlife (ducks, geese, squirrels, raccoons) (Do not let your dog harm any of the wildlife). If your dog is a “prey” dog and you fear it will chase and catch a duck, goose, raccoon, then this may not be the place for you. If they know “leave it” then fantastic! :-) During the winter, if the lake is freezing over or frozen, we will NOT allow bookings.
