55This was amazing! Such easy access right off the interstate! Great for people traveling to stretch their legs and let the doggies play! They even have a private building with toys a sitting area and restrooms for humans! The fenced in area for your dogs is clean with so many items for them to stiff and explore! Highly recommend!

Description

Hello, it's Mike & Tracy! Our 1st pup together gave us such inspiration to do something for other pooches! This fenced area is across the street from our main tiny home & is a private area for your pooch to run, play & of course SNIFF! Travelers...we are located, not far off of I77, near Seneca Lake, Senecaville exit. If you're traveling, it's a great place to pull off & let your dog have a break! We have a private restroom on site!

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

Welcome to 4-Aker's Ruff'n It Pooch Park! We are recent new pooch owners who were inspired to do something for other pooches & their owners! Our TJ used to be so anxious around other dogs. Going to a public dog park was not in the cards. A trainer friend spoke about Sniffspot and we began the plans to become a host! So many dogs have the same issues or not enough room to run & play...we are here to help!

Our Sniffspot has been referred to as Dog Heaven. We are in a remote area in the Appalachian Foothills of SE Ohio. We have farm roads, mowed trails and open fields you and your dog can enjoy, but the favorite place for most dogs is our pond. Our pond features a dock that dogs love to jump off of. There is also a large covered pavilion with tables and chairs. A basket of water toys is next to the dock. There is an outhouse there and well, it is primitive, but clean (unless the mice make nests, but I try to keep ahead of that) In dry weather the pond is accessible by vehicle but it is also a good walk for people and dogs, about 1/2 a mile from the parking area (and mostly uphill). This pavilion also has our "Sugar Shack" attached, which is where we boil down maple sap in February and March to make syrup. The Maple Grove is up a trail above the pond. **My dogs swim in this pond most days in the spring, summer & fall. The pond has an aerator and also is treated with Pond Blue, both of which help to eliminate the possibility of dangerous algae blooms. There is also no fertilization of fields that could run off into the pond. **
