Description

This space is one total acre that provides access for animals of multiple types of needs. The entire backyard space includes an unground electric fence and we have up to 5 collars available for dogs who are accustomed to that and can be trained for the boundaries. This space has access to a small pool for pets, chairs for humans, beautiful outdoor lighting, and even a catio space for people who want to include all of their pets. There is also a tether ball rope toy attached to a large tree and available for use. A large portion of the backyard also includes a regular fence for dogs who may require that. This section if the yard includes access to drinking water as well as two dog house options, one of them being a massive insulated space with both heating and air conditioning based upon the weather. The front yard/driveway are also available for use but do not offer any fenced space and is somewhat near a (not extremely busy) road. This is a space for dogs with great recall or a lead. We offer amenities such as poop scoopers and bags available, trash can near to the space, the puppy pool, a comfortable shaded deck with chairs for the humans, and the Catio space with a litter box area that can be made accessible and available with fresh clean litter and box with notice. We do have several pets of our own but can very easily have them out of sight if preferred by your pet. We are able to accommodate most needs your pet may have so please feel free to ask! I have years of experience caring for pets of all breeds, shapes, sizes and ages. I also have experience in minor medical care for animals that may need it and have worked as an animal caretaker for the last 5 years. I pride myself on being able to provide great care and enrichment for every animal I meet.

Hazards

HOST NOTE

The nearby road is somewhat of a hazard. There are dogs at several of our neighbors homes but they are fairly good about staying their own yards and almost never come into ours due to our dogs. The pool could be somewhat of a hazard but is not very deep (maybe 2.5 ft) and the water is changed very regularly to prevent stagnation and insects. There is a burn pile near the far corner of our back yard that is technically accessible with the current boundary set. This space may contain sharp objects and debris. If this space is an issue the boundary can be adjusted via the transmitter inside our home and made shorter so the pile is not accessible. The pile is also not accessible from the fence so that is an option for preventing that issue as well.

Please feel free to let me know any relevant information about your dog’s playtime preferences! We have a large fenced portion of the property for dogs that need to be fenced at all times. This space has access to water and multiple dog house options including one that is heated and air conditioned based on the weather. The entire back yard also includes an in-ground electric fence for dogs that are accustom to that and can be trained for the boundaries. The in-ground fence includes the regular fenced space as well. The entire yard is 1 acre and the front yard is available for use if desired but has no fence option and is somewhat near a (not extremely busy) road. This option is for dogs that have good recall or are leashed. We do have pets but they can easily be put completely out of sight from your pets if that is what’s preferred so please don’t hesitate to let me know what you and your pet will be most comfortable with! We also have a small dog pool available in the larger unfenced portion of the back yard and a tether ball toy attached to a tree in that space as well, all available for use. If you plan to use the pool we can provide fresh water if notified beforehand.

Our family recently moved to Illinois and we had a huge fenced in yard built just for them. Anarchy having been a reactive dog in the past has thrived having so much space to run. We have two entry points, one off the back patio and one in the middle of the chain link fence. Seating in the dog run is coming soon. We have dog toys throughout the yard that could be picked up and put away at your request. A freshly cleaned and filled water bucket will be placed by the gate. Our dogs will be let out 15minutes before your arrival, and will be in the house for the time slot chosen. We do have chickens, they are about 30/40 feet away from the dog run in a secure fencing. We have a large parking area, there will be a space available right next to the large tree. You may see our family coming and going as we go about our day.
