55Omg this place is incredible! HUGE fenced in flat area for dogs to stretch their legs & get zoomies out! (The owner has a fenced yard for her dogs to the left & there is a neighbor with a dog to the right for anyone who has reactive dogs. Although the owners dogs probably won’t be out while you’re there and the space is big enough that if you’re on one side of the yard, your dogs won’t notice anything on the other side. Then there are ACRES of unfenced open land for exploring including a good sized pond! This is my new favorite SniffSpot 😍

We are open! 60 acres of Sporting Dog paradise in Chesterland, just minutes from Gates Mills and Mayfield Heights! Major Highway access! With a 6.5 acre fully stocked lake, 4 acre fully stocked pond, trails, 10 acre fully fenced in dog arena, observation pavillion with picnic tables, fire pit, 3,000 square foot climate controlled out building, come and hang out at The Ranch! If your dog needs to run, train, jump, swim and be an athlete, The Red Dog Ranch is for you. The Ranch will offer ful day camp and boarding opportunities for active dogs. Check us out as we open our doors - no more boring dog hotels with small spaces to stretch, the ranch is for canine athletes that need to go, go, go! Bring your family for Stay and Play as we roll out Cleveland’s Premiere Sporting Dog Facility!

Hazards

Natural terrain that includes brush in hiking areas, dogs must be leashed on a portion of the property when hiking. Dogs with long coats should be checked for burs because of wild plants and various natural terrain. We try to preserve the property as much as possible for the wildlife and for hunting dog training. You will encounter areas of low-lying water and possible mud (it’s a 🧑‍🌾 farm!) friendly reminder to bring your boots and appropriate hiking 🥾 footwear and attire. Your dog may have a blast getting down and dirty, or swimming in the lake and pond - towels for drying are recommended. The land has natural defects, and possible 🕳️ from small animals burrowing such as gopher holes. We are constantly patrolling the property to make it the most fun ever and keep it in tip-top shape. It’s a big piece of land, explore at your own discretion and have fun! Reservations will be cancelled in inclement weather and after dusk. I have blocked time slots off after 5:00 pm. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water. There can be uneven surfaces, trees, sticks, rocks, branches, plants etc. Since this is a vast 60 acres with forest, natural stream, etc. please exercise caution and good judgement when exploring! (Think Metropark-like setting) and to keep your dogs safe, under control, and within sight at all times. No reservations after dark, and we reserve the right to cancel in inclement weather.

Dogs must be leashed or off-leash trained when accessing the main pasture. Dogs must be proven swimmers to enter lake and pond. The property is for sporting dogs or dogs that are used to working in various terrain. Front 10 acres are used as training, airing yard and a great introduction to the training grounds for dogs needing better obedience. Optimal grounds for dogs that have a lot of “go”. Sporting and working breeds preferred.

Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.
Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

I have dogs, I am the owner of the property, they’ll be there. going forward this property will be open backup for open play times, and for dog day camp 🐶 Our goal is to have a private spot for sporting dogs to work and play - so we will be on sniff spot but only when we have open play dates or to arrange private visits to check out the property for possible day camp, day boarding and boarding. I purchased the farm 2 years ago and am restoring it to natural pastures and a wildlife haven in near the big city.
