55This was awesome for our dog! Plenty of space to run and explore, but the fencing was very secure, so a perfect opportunity to practice recall.
55Our new favorite Sniffspot! Great trails and well maintained! Highly recommend!
55Great place for our 2 dogs! Lots of room to roam the trails. I especially liked the picnic table at the top of the hill where my husband and I could sit comfortably and watch the dogs explore. The host was gracious and we will definitely be back.
55Really great sniffspot. 5 acres of well maintained trails and a small area of water. My dog had a blast and was exhausted when we got home. We already booked to go back next week. One thing to note, when we got there the foster pup Tegan jumped over the cattle gate to greet my dog. My dog isn’t reactive so it was fine and Tegan was really sweet. Lyndsi did a great job getting her back in the gate.
55This was a wonderful spot to let Uma, who has a lot of work to do on recall, just run and explore. Bring a hat and wear sunscreen! We will definitely return.
55Love this spot.
55Amazing place! Our doggos had the best time!! It is a safe, clean, and adventurous place for doggos. Lots of mental enrichment! The host was wonderful and instructions were clear and helpful! Thank you so so much for having us!!
55We loved our time here! So much to smell and the trails made for great chasing. We’ll be back!
55Frank really enjoyed the big space for playing with the ball and then exploring the trails and sniffing out all the great new things. I appreciated the setup. Easy to bring him in and out, water, towels and that there were dog bags in the field and out in the trails.
55We really enjoyed this place. First, the big yard in the front is perfect if you want to play fetch and they have some agility equipment if you want to try something fun and new for your pup. Second, the trails are perfect for recall training if you’re wanting to let your pups off leash while hiking but they need practice. There’s fresh water provided as well as toy and towels. The trails can be a little steep in certain areas so just something to have in mind when you’re booking. My pups had a great time and got tired in 1hr.

Description

The trails are fenced in completely and a GREAT opportunity to practice recall and other off leash skills to prepare for future hikes with no boundaries(fencing). We are fully fenced and offer a mini trail system. You can find a long line by the water jug if you are just beginning recall training.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Blackberry bushes/vines and some potholes. Please bring buckets and clippers to leave with blackberries!Property is on an incline. Rain can cause mud and slippery spots so please be careful. When you arrive you’re going to park in the gravel area just outside the gate. You will enter the door right off the gravel area into a large field. As you enter the field you will see a 5 gallon water jug to fill the water bowl or fill your water bottle. This area is also where you will find the poop can, dry towel bin, toy bin, tennis ball bin and treats for purchase to work your recall! If your dog is sensitive to people or other dogs on site or through a sense, you will want to spend your time on the back area trails. The big field shares a fence with my backyard/courtyard area. My area has dogs coming in and out because I train and board pups. Dogs will not be out unattended and I will call them away from the fence area when your entering. However PLEASE If you are concerned about barrier aggression stay on leash until your past the big get over to the trail side. The gravel parking area for sniffspot is also parking for training clients. If somebody else’s unloading, please wait for them to vacate the area to unload. Many dogs I work with have behavioral issues so they also need space. Thank you!

Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, they may see or hear my pups if they are outside. My pups may also bark for a minute as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. They are very friendly. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Those same neighbors also have some piglets that are sometimes allowed to roam on the backend of their property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around. We hope to see you soon!

5/5/24: FYI, 'F1' DOG PARK IS NOW RE-OPENED. IF YOUR DESIRED TIME SLOT IS GONE HERE, TRY F1 TO SEE IF IT'S AVAILABLE. IT'S BEEN CLOSED FOR GRASS REPAIR, AND NOW READY TO RUN ON AGAIN!! YAY!! 11/29/23: NEW!!! NOW OFFERING COMPLIMENTARY CLEAN RAG AND DIRTY RAG HAMPER FOR EACH DOG. ONLY ONE PER DOG PLEASE. WE'LL WASH THEM AND REPLACE THEM INTO THE 'CLEAN' RAG BOX AFTER LAUNDERING. Proud to be chosen as Sniffspot's global business model again in the February 27, 2024 online Newsweek magazine, the June 5, 2023 of Womens World magazine. Also featured in Business Insider on June 9, 2022. NOW YOU'RE WELCOME TO DRIVE ONE RIG INTO THE FIELD, MUD FREE (stopping at end of asphalt), then closing the big farm gate behind you so that you can release your 10# and over pup(s) without leashes. or worry of them getting into the road! VERY IMPORTANT: EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!! Upon entering, you won’t be able to see the people or dogs in field one (F1) while you are in F2. Maybe just a glimpse of them when they are arriving or leaving their cars from a distance. We have buildings and trees that separate the two. We offer poop bags all around the field, and a garbage can for your use (used poop bags only please). If you happen to see a pile someone missed, please help us out, but PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR PETS AND PICK UP AFTER THEM, TOYS TOO!!!. Thank you so much for your cooperation! We also provide a large fence attached bowl and water hose, balls/chukits and fun toys, comfy swing, and plenty of tables/benches. ALSO, if you'd like to have an event on our farm anywhere, we can discuss your wants and make something work for you. We also host overnight stays in two cottages we have on the property. BUT, you CANNOT bring your pets here to stay the night. We want to keep the cottages pristine and dander free for our Airbnb glamping guests that book here. Thanks for reading! Hope to see you here soon! We know you will love our magical farm!
