Tryon Creek Oasis (New: Private Parking!)

Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

The Dog-Out at Big Sky Ranch, Fully Fenced Park For Dogs In Oregon City, includes Outhouse.

(Limit 2 cars at a time, otherwise inquire about permission to have more. Thx!) Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. We've got two chiweenies who can get around easily in our large backyard. It's fully fenced on all 4 sides, and there is seating for up to 5 people. Dogs can enjoy running on the grass, laying in the sun, and sniffing all the flowers.

There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the pasture regularly in the spring/summer to keep the grass short. What we offer: ✅ Large fully fenced pasture. ✅ Dedicated guest parking area for easy parking and multiple cars ( can fit 2-3 cars depending on vehicles sizes ). ✅ Private entrance straight to the pasture. ✅ Open barn for shade and shelter from rain and wind. ✅ Chairs and table ✅ Waste bags, Large pooper scooper and multiple trash stations for easy clean up and disposal. ✅ 5 gallon distilled bottled water jug for dogs and humans. ( Water is not available during freezing conditions ). ✅ Regularly maintained field in spring/summer ✅ Frisbee golf basket and discs, picnic blanket and other outdoor games available in the summer 🌞 🐾 On RARE occasions our neighbor’s dog has wandered near the Sniffspot. The area is fully fenced and secure so he cannot enter on his own. He is young, extremely friendly, and docile; some guests have even chosen to let him in to play with their dogs. Again his visits are very uncommon ( only 3 guest interactions out of 1,000+ visits ), and if it does occur during your visit his collar includes our neighbor’s contact information so they can be reached directly. Q: Do you have toys at your location? A: Unfortunately we do not offer toys at our sniffspot due to frequent replacement being costly, this choice helps us to keep our price low. Occasionally we will have them available thanks to donations from guests in our small dog community to share with others but it is not guaranteed. *EDITS* 5/28/2024* By request we've made some improvements on making this spot more small dog friendly by filling in noticeable gaps under our fences and gates! 6/4/2024* We've ordered supplies to update sagging area's in fencing and added water bowls. 9/16/2024* Gate lock has been fixed. 6/30/2025 2 more doggy waste stations have been ordered to add to the park. 7/20/2025 Doggy waste stations have been installed and active wasps nest have also been taken care of. A water jug station will also be added to have more water jugs available for guests to replace with fresh ones once emptied. 10/15/2025 Mulch has been ordered, we plan on slowly topping up mulched area's as needed throughout the fall and winter months.
