Loved it!
Best. Sniffspot. Ever. The host is so thoughtful, there was a personalized note left in a clean water bowl with a sealed water bottle left out for us. The space is amazing, super cute, lots of space to run and things to smell and explore. Would love to go back!
Host replied: Sophie I’m so happy to hear you and Oliver had such a positive experience. It’s a quirky backyard that we enjoy and are thrilled to share with dog lovers like you. Please return. Thank you.
This was definitely a SNIFF spot! We took advantage of a rare under-100 July day to visit and there was lots for my dogs to check out. Not much grass, so I’m not sure how nice it would be for fetch, but if you want to sit in the shade while your dogs explore, it’s perfect. My terriers especially loved chasing and watching the birds that arrived every few minutes, drawn in by the bird feeder. Renee left us a clean bowl and a cold bottle of water, which was so nice. I’ll definitely be back when the weather cools down!
Host replied: Thank you, Paige. I’m thrilled to hear Scout and Oscar enjoyed exploring especially behind the shed. We enjoy the birds chirping too. Look forward to your next visit anytime!
Teleworking from home so able to clean up behind each guest right away. We are thrilled to have the luxury of offering our back yard to our fellow dog lovers. It breaks my heart when I see people adopt dogs and they live in apartments that don’t offer dog parks or any space for the dogs to sniff and run around. A new environment with different smells and a safe place to stretch those legs (away from the laying around all day) is priceless for our furry loved ones. Life is not full without pets in my life. We provide our pets with the utmost attention and love. It’s rare to go on vacation for us because of our pets but they are worth our unconditional love. Our dogs and cats give us licks and cuddles and loads of entertainment even when we think we don’t need their attention. It’s important to us to have a safe place for our dogs to run around. We bought this house for the dogs: huge backyard! We’ve also avoided using pesticides for our dogs safety and ours. I’m a nature lover thus the many hummingbird and bird feeders. I feel we live more for our dogs than anything else. We are clean inside but do allow our dogs on all furniture so they are comfortable and close to us when they want to be or when we need to get a hug. Our dogs love to bark at one neighbors dogs and we allow it. They’re just being dogs and need to let it out. If it persists then we do stop it but we don’t yell at them in anger. If our dogs want to dig we allow them that skill set. It’s important we let them be dogs. This is us, dog people! So let your dogs be dogs in Renee’s safe backyard. We moved out here from New England via Maryland and Virginia over 19 years ago. I served in the army many years ago! Not yet retired and still fairly active hiking throughout the desert or an occasional bike ride. Lastly we love to walk our dogs in different parks on leash.
