Description

This sniff spot is a large, grassy area that is fenced in by a 6ft wooden fence with no gaps or holes. There are tall bushes that give dogs the enrichment of exploring in nature. The spot is in a quiet neighborhood so distractions are rare. There’s a hammock and seating for you while you watch your pup live his best life! There’s also various dog enrichment toys and equipment to help make your visit the best! For vaccinations, SniffSpot requires that all visiting dogs have current DHPP or DA2PP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and rabies vaccines or current titers. We also require up to date flea and parasite preventative. Hairless dogs do not need to be on flea preventative.

If your dog is barking excessively , you will be asked to leave. We try to keep our space as peaceful as possible for your reactive dogs and we ask that you do the same for our own dogs and our neighboring dogs. If you need a trainers help for barking, please reach out to us!

	Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.

We have been to this sniff spot several times now and it is a great space! This time there were neighbors’ dogs barking on both sides (no fault of this sniff spot owner!). It luckily gave us a great training opportunity but we had to cut our time a bit short since my reactive dog was getting a bit overwhelmed. The spot still gets 5 starts from us because we still had fun getting some energy out after all of the recent cold days.

This was our first time using Sniffspot & it was awesome! We’re on a cross country trip and our pup loved the opportunity to run around and explore. Emily was so accommodating and thoughtful. Lots of toys, treats, puzzles and even a towel to wipe his paws. We especially loved the dog customs photo props :)

As a dog trainer, I know how frustrating it can be to not have a safe place to take your dog. Dogs need to explore and participate in enrichment activities that only nature can provide. Dog parks aren’t always safe. Or if you have a reactive dog, they aren’t the best place to go anyways! I get it! That’s why I decided to create a sniff spot! Having a reactive dog myself, I GET IT!

Pictures coming soon!! I have a pretty open back yard. It’s got two big trees for shade and an unused shed. The metal fence is about 4 feet high with two entrance gates from the front of the house. You would have access to the kiddie pool, fresh water hose, picnic table, Wi-Fi, towels, tennis balls, patio chairs. Digging is not allowed. Beers and Soda for sale while you wait and play with your dog.
