55Our dogs had a grand ol' time at this sniff spot. Looking back at the map, I think we only explored one fourth of the area, but we stayed nearly the whole time and our dogs were tired. They also loved exploring the river on the property. For the humans, Id recommend boots particularly in spring as it was muddy in spots.
55Such a beautiful property! It was the perfect place to bring my high energy pointer so he could run and smell all the things. I felt like I was four hours north it’s so secluded and quiet. I will definitely be back once warmer so he can spend the whole time swimming in the river.
55What an awesome piece of land! Great trails, the dogs LOVED it! Thanks for sharing your land!
555 stars because my dog obviously had a blast, but in an effort to be very honest, I’m not sure it’s a good fit for us moving forward. First, though beautiful, the trails were hard to follow & track with plant growth and lots of fallen trees (it’s the very beginning of the season, so that might still be taken care of?). Also, there is a trail map in the photo gallery, so I recommend taking a screenshot before you go. Second, there are several abandoned vehicles and campers throughout the property with broken doors & windows, and the big barn door was open…I didn’t check any of these out closely, but know some dogs might have a hard time resisting. Third, I may have missed it, but didn’t see a welcome area/box/etc…those really can come in handy, especially in the summer.
55Beautiful wooded area with a crick !
55We had great time wandering through the trails! Our dogs loved the water. A few broken branches/trees made some trails harder to get through. Dogs loved the challenge- humans had a harder time keeping up!
55It was the perfect spot for my anxious reactive dog to run. Thank you so much, I hope to go back soon!
55BEAUTIFUL property with so much for our dog to explore. We have a reactive dog and the hosts were kind enough to keep their dogs inside for the duration of our walk. Thank you!!
55Great spot! Lots of places to roam and explore.
55Great time again! We love the trails and there is always something new to explore.

Host replied: We know about some of our trees :( We are in the process of cleaning our trails back up from the winter as we use them often :) So sorry, it’s a process. We do live here so obviously the vehicles are ours, although a bunch of kids were caught vandalizing one that we are trying to figure out!

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours
