My pup and I were passing through on a cross-country road trip. So happy to have found this place so she could stretch her legs fully and get her zoomies out from hours in the car! Thank you 😊 🐺
The yard is quite large! Plenty of space to use a chuck-it or kick a ball around. My dog has the time of her life. The gate isn’t 100% secure, but that wasn’t a problem at all for us, there is plenty of yard away from the gate to play in. We will be back!!
The gate to the backyard was a little busted, but it still latched perfectly fine. We were able to play far enough away that he wasn't distracted by the house or anything.
If you don't mind mud, place is great my dog only wants to chase his Frisbee and got to do just that!
We enjoyed our time at this sniff spot! Lots of room for the dogs to run!
The host was sweet about giving us a heads up about the shoes that had been revealed by the melted snow but there was still a lot of random debris and objects that could pose possible injury to my three dogs e.g. thistles, plastic toy parts, wood pallets, pieces of wood with nails in it etc. Also the gates on the hosts deck were left open. Naturally two out of our three dogs ran upstairs to the deck and into the next door neighbors driveway/carport because a gate was left open. Luckily their recall is decent. Also the neighbors dogs were let outside and rushed up to a part of the fence. That doesn't mix well with dogs that have barrier frustration. The point was to go to a dog free zone so my dog crew could explore in peace.
Great spacious yard. Though I was worried about the broken fence right next to the house, so my pup and I stayed down the hill as much as possible to avoid it which turned out fine for us.
This was my first time using Sniffspot and am really happy I tried it out! Amber’s yard was huge and my two hounds loved to use their noses and sniff out every inch of her acre! There is a hill to get down to the bottom (which I loved bc it made the hounds work harder) and there are some loose brush/prickly bushes I had to recall them from to avoid them getting into anything they shouldn’t. We are in Utah only for a short amount of time otherwise I would use her Sniffspot again!
I’m our first ten minutes at this sniff spot our dog found a weak spot in the gate and was able slip through. We had to chase him down the street and luckily caught him before the main road. The gate was clearly busted and not secure so if your pup is a little curious, they will find a way out of this yard. I would not recommend this sniff spot unless you want stand guard by her broken gate the whole time. Besides the busted gate the yard was very large and could have been very fun had the fence been secure.
large yard, exactly what my great dane needed!
My name is Amber Stowell. I have 6 kids. We love the out doors
