The space was a nice large clearing surrounded by trees for shade and lush plants, with plenty of space to run. When you park behind the house, it's not immediately evident where to go, but once you cross the little bridge, it is clear where the yard boundaries are.
As described in the listing, only the back is really fenced. Part of the border with the neighbor on the side is also fenced, but there is a gap in that fencing. On the other side, there is no fence, just a creek which my dogs of course went charging into! :) They also loved sniffing around the perimeter.
The neighbors in the back do have larger dogs, and we did see the dogs a bit and hear barking, which made my reactive dog a bit nervous. We didn't see deer but my dogs did have fun finding evidence of them. There is also some road noise.
Overall a nice space, as long as you feel confident in your recall. Best for dogs who don't get nervous when hearing barking.
