45The space was a nice large clearing surrounded by trees for shade and lush plants, with plenty of space to run. When you park behind the house, it's not immediately evident where to go, but once you cross the little bridge, it is clear where the yard boundaries are. As described in the listing, only the back is really fenced. Part of the border with the neighbor on the side is also fenced, but there is a gap in that fencing. On the other side, there is no fence, just a creek which my dogs of course went charging into! :) They also loved sniffing around the perimeter. The neighbors in the back do have larger dogs, and we did see the dogs a bit and hear barking, which made my reactive dog a bit nervous. We didn't see deer but my dogs did have fun finding evidence of them. There is also some road noise. Overall a nice space, as long as you feel confident in your recall. Best for dogs who don't get nervous when hearing barking.

Just set this all up, trying to work through the kinks. Have a great yard, hoping others can enjoy!

NOTE: We are currently only accepting a limited number of memberships at this spot. We do not accept individual bookings. Please message me if you would like to become a member. We may have a spot open. Note: There is a public sidewalk that is very close to one side of the fence. Please note that if your pup can jump up or over a 3 1/2 foot fence AND is prone to jumping up when people or other dogs walk by the fence, then this site will NOT be safe for your pup. This spot is best for medium to small dogs or dogs that are not triggered by people and other dogs. Welcome to our yard! We offer a convenient location for you to bring your medium or small sized pup for some outdoor off-leash time. We have trees and grassy areas with lots of smells for your dog to sniff. We also have benches and a small shelter with a chair and table for your comfort. Great space to let your dog off leash to safely play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. We supply dog treats as well as toys. Water and a bowl are also available. Everything can be found in the storage box in the little green shelter. If you are reserving a time when it is dark outside, the spot is lit up from the large street light. We do not have any other lights in the spot. There is a portable light in the little green shelter that you can switch on if needed. We recommend bringing a flashlight in the rare event that the street light does not turn on. Gate Entrance: Sidewalk on the street side of the house. Depending on how close you park, you will need to walk your dog on a leash at least 200ft to reach the chain link gate entrance to the spot. Clean up: Poop bags are provided and can be disposed of in metal garbage can located in the green shelter. We do our best to check the spot between guests and we trust that each guest is cleaning up after their pup. If you happen to run across something we missed from a previous guest, please let us know.
