Backyard was big enough to play and have fun! Host was very nice. If your dog is reactive to people this would not be the spot for you though, as she does like to say hi to the dog and sit outside while they play. Finally, her house does have some hurricane damage including a hole to her back door. This did give my large dog access to her house. She put a chair there after which tempted him to try and get in less. All in all a kind woman and a nice backyard, but it may not be the right choice for every dog.

Great first visit, Izzy was mostly interested in sniffing and checking out the yard, which was nicely mowed and cleaned, especially with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Had the Chance to talk with Teri and Rick as Izzy got tired and wanted to lay down in the shade, a successful outing with some off leash training time practicing recalls.

5 Acre Farm Fully Fenced Dog Park In Nokomis

Bring your 4 legged friends out to explore. Small farm located at the end of a private dirt road. Quiet peaceful setting with plenty of shade trees and a swing. Horses, pig and dogs on premises (dogs kept inside, horses in barn while guests are visiting). Small pond with dock available to let your dog swim and practice diving. Absolutely No alligators in pond I get asked this often. 🙂 Doggy wash station and water hose provided.

The Painted Porch Pooch Park

Located minutes from downtown Punta Gorda, gorgeous 2 acres, owner residence on site. Large shady oaks, big dig pit, private pasture and well-cut grass to run and play. Water and toys-FULLY FENCED! 1 couple or 1 owner, 1-3 dogs only. No small kids or families at our spot for safety reasons. (Beware of red ant piles-we treat often but rains stir them up, dogs usually stay clear-Keep feet moving) Please honor your timeframe with 1/2 hr buffer before & after bookings. Play dates of 5 dogs must be approved in advanced with owners in attendance. Must book under one primary guest only. Please review all notes in my spot profile.

FurRetreat In Sarasota

This oasis is the perfect retreat for visitors from out of town and local’s who are unable to provide their fur baby with a place to run and play. $20/dog/hour for yard usage and $50/dog/hour with pool access. Please add pool access through the “add on’s”. Note that video recording devices are located throughout the property.
