Description

Soak up the vintage and rustic charm of Kentucky! We're nestled on top of a ridge with 200 acres of land you can explore while visiting. We have a pond and a large creek that runs right through our property. We have beautiful rolling hills that make for a great landscape to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. We're looking forward to hosting you.

HOST NOTE

There is a sportsman club about 10 miles from the farm. During fall time, you may hear gunshots in the distance, which may seem more amplified with the way our rolling hills are through this area. Don't be alarmed if you hear anything, as there is nothing to worry about while hiking our farm. Being in a rural area, other farmers may target practice from time to time, but the closest anyone would be in at least a mile or more. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water Our creek isn't more than a few few deep but mostly about 1 foot deep. However, there are some pools that are deeper. When it rains, you can expect the creek to rise.

We would like to welcome you to a 2 acre, fully fenced dog yard that is on a hillside. The fence is 4 ft tall all the way around and safe for dogs, big and small. It's a natural space for the dogs to run, dig, sniff, or just sunbathe. It can be a bit steep in some areas and the Josephine road can be tricky when the weather gets icy. Bring a chair or wander through the trees and let your dog explore. The area is part forest and if you follow the top fence, it will take you over to a small, open field. We plan on keeping it natural so the dogs can enjoy the untouched habitat.

We are so glad you found us! Three separate yards divided with v-mesh 5 foot tall horse fencing. The biggest one is 4 acres and the entire property is double fenced for lots of romping. Mowed weekly. Our park is located on a quiet neighborhood street which is also great for leash walking! Please remember to always pick up after you play. Toys, Chuck It, doggie pick up bags are all located at the entrance and we appreciate you placing them back where you found them. I rotate dog swimming pools, agility equipment and other fun activities weather dependent. Picnic table great for snacks and pup watching!
