45Great spot. But, when we visited, the grass was quite tall and growing foxtail-like weeds, so we were cautious. Would absolutely come back if the lawn was maintained.
55Spacious and plenty of opportunities for prime sniffing. Easy to find and ample parking.
45My dogs had a great time and I deeply appreciate Neka making their yard available, but I have to admit I found this space a little challenging. There is nothing separating the back of the house (staff only) from the rest of the yard, and my human-friendly pup was very interested in the back door. Because the home is in the middle of the fenced area, it was also difficult to keep an eye on both dogs when they went around opposite sides of the house. There are two places where the white fence boards were damaged or missing and the fencing was entirely dependent on the mesh fence. I worried a little about my big dogs damaging the mesh if they ran after a squirrel, but it never happened. All of that said, my husky was thrilled to have so much space to zoom! We all had a wonderful time.
55Wonderful spot and rural setting.
55This place was perfect for my two weens. They had a blast. Was large and fullly fenced. I had no trouble getting there and parking was easy. My only complain is there is no trashcan to dispose of doggy bags
45There are only two or maybe three sniffspots in the area so I really do appreciate Neka and her family for opening up their yard for the dogs. There was the perfect amount of distractions for us , some car noise , the smell of goats across the fence (nothing close for a dog to get them) and some roosters and chickens you hear nearby . Only problem for us was the holes(not sure what type of animal is digging them). Unfortunately I have a senior with already joint problems and a pretty athletic puppy who's digging those paws into the ground every step of the way to get that ball. So unfortunately we won’t be back, just don’t want to risk them getting hurt. I’m sure there are other dogs who aren’t as rough or clumsy as mines who know how to watch their step. But of course still really appreciate Neka hosting her spot. Really helpful when you don’t have a large yard of your own. Thanks again!

45(Sorry for the block of text, I can't figure out how to add line breaks...) PROS: + our two herding dogs had a lovely time running around Neka's front yard and slept very well afterwards + the grass is pretty short and the area is flat/open + it's quiet/rural-- there is a road nearby with occasional cars, you can hear neighboring chickens calling, and there are several very calm/curious sheep munching grass next door who looked up at our arrival, but then went back to grazing (our herding dogs eyeballed them, but didn't bark/try to head towards the sheep which probably helped the sheep's disinterest in us). THINGS TO NOTE: + we recommend you check for ticks before you get back in the car or use a tick-repellant spray on your dogs, since it is tick season and we found a few on our puppers, luckily before they could attach + our border collie dropped her tennis ball into a gopher hole and it disappeared into the abyss, so if you find an extra tennis ball out there when the gopher kicks it back out, please enjoy with our blessing! :P + parking isn't super clear-- we weren't sure if we should park along the side of the road or in the neighboring driveway between Neka's yard and the sheep. I don't know that it makes too much difference since nobody came by while we were there, but just a head's up. OVERALL, we're excited that Neka's place is in our area and we'll definitely be back to run off more energy! I couldn't give a full 5 stars this particular visit as my questions regarding parking/where to enter never received a response in the host message thread, so we felt like we were trespassing/looking quite suspicious while trying to figure out how to enter Neka's yard, but I am also aware that it was Super Bowl Sunday and a busy weekend for a lot of people, so I anticipate future visits being 5 stars since we'll know what we're doing. Thanks, Neka, for sharing your space with us!

Host replied: Hello thank you for visiting. Unfortunately it’s been raining and the grass was wet. Apparently it’s not good to landscape when the grass is wet. We are getting this taken care of. Thank you for visiting!!!
