Description

Our place is up on a hill and has beautiful views of the town and mountains twins as well as Thumb Butte. I have two separate yards that are fully fenced with mostly grass. You can sit on the deck under the pergola and watch your Doggos play while enjoying the relaxing, beautiful views. There are two Kuranda beds on the deck for your dogs use with water and a relaxing fountain. I also offer doggie daycare if you are interested as well as overnights at my place. (Dogs must be friendly and get along with my two friendly dogs for that.) Bottled water and some snacks for humans and their pups are available if requested. Small and large dogs welcome!

Hello, my name is Ann and I have been an animal advocate for over 25 years. I founded The Prescott Dog magazine along with 3 others in Arizona. They are devoted to raising awareness of shelter and rescue animals and educating people about responsible pet parenting. I also founded several mega adopt-a-thons and two that are still going on annually in Prescott and Tucson Arizona. They are Dogtoberfest and Woodstock and through them, thousands of shelter dogs have found homes! Animals are my passion so Sniffspot was a natural for me!

I run a 40 acre private campground called A Spark in the Dark Campground here in Ash Fork, Arizona, where you get wide-open skies, quiet nights, and a little bit of genuine weirdness you just can’t buy in stores. I started this place with one goal: to make it a safe, relaxed spot for good people and their dogs to enjoy the outdoors without hassle. Whether you want to explore the trail, nap under the junipers, or just watch your pup sprint around like their life depends on it, you’re in good company here. I keep things laid-back and personal—no stuffy rules, just good vibes and a real respect for nature (and dog hair). Lots of room to run, lizards to chase, and a fully fenced 40 acres is yours to wander! Keep in mind that the fence is a 4 wire cattle fence with wildlife-friendly wire at the bottom. I’m usually on-site and happy to help with anything you need. So come on out! Unplug, unwind, and get a little dirt between your toes (or paws). :)
