Cute little yard, nice grassy area with more overgrowth and flowers towards the back fence - great for running around and sniffing. No issues with the fencing for our medium sized dogs. We did encounter the neighbor’s small dog on our way in, but the neighbor came to round them up. The resident dog inside was pretty vocal, but luckily our dogs weren’t too bothered. The weather was beautiful and the trees provided nice shade. Overall, a good afternoon romp.
Clean and well maintained! Great space for our rambunctious corgis!
Well fenced area, especially for big dogs who certainly can’t fit under the gate. It was clean with lots of great space to play!
Great space! My only suggestion is chairs
Host replied: Great suggestion! I’ll be adding a couple of chairs and a table this week. Thanks for visiting!
It felt really deceiving for this location to be labeled as “fully fenced” but found out there were two separate areas my dog tried to crawl under. The worst one was a very large gap at the entrance that we kept having to watch. It really took away from the reason we were there, which was for some carefree playtime with our five month old puppy. We couldn’t work on training or ball play. We ended up leaving 20 minutes into our time because of how stressful it felt. The last thing that felt like a letdown was the fact that the host asks visitors to stay away from the small fence area, which spans half of the enclosed space. I am unsure how they expect owners to honor this. I really feel this host needs to work on these issues and fix the areas where dogs can crawl under.
Host replied: Hi there, thank you for your feedback! I’ll work on a patch for that space under the fence. I didn’t think it was large enough to slip under and know how stressful it is to have that possibility. In the meantime, I’ll add a photo of that part of the fence for those small puppers. The yard is portioned for the renters I have downstairs but I’ll try and get an arial shot of the yard so you know what to expect. Rest assured that no dogs will be in that space while the yard is reserved for sniffing. :-)
This is a great yard with plenty to sniff and explore.
Host replied: Thank you for visiting! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
The place was mostly great for a beginner’s outdoor training area. I only say mostly because there is a side of the yard with plants that distracted my pup, and we felt bad about the flowers getting scruffed up.
Host replied: No worries about the flower space, even more to sniff! Thank you for visiting!
Great spot, good fencing.
First time using SniffSpot. Beth’s yard was the perfect size for my pup to play fetch and get some exercise. We were there early on a Sunday morning so the area was pretty quiet. Yard seemed safe and well-cared for. We’ll come back! Thank you.
Host replied: Thank you so much for visiting!
Great spot!! Our pups loved the grass.
