55Great yard! Plenty of space to let my girl run around :)
55Great yard and experience. Very easy and will definitely do it again!
55Feels like home when we’re there with Kizzy.
55My two dogs, Noor and Dune loved it. Fully fenced, clean, and lots of great smells for the puppies. Thanks again Cheryl for opening up your yard to us. We really appreciate it
55The yard is huge and completely fenced in. There is also a big, comfortable screened-in porch. Cheryl and Greg fostered my dog when I adopted her about 7 weeks ago. They are both very friendly and accommodating. They had toys and water on site and even offered us food they had left over from a party. Since Greg and Cheryl foster dogs, there are dogs in the house but they are situated in such a way that they did not distract or cause a problem with my dog. That’s important as my dog is very reactive to other dogs. Also, one of the review questions asks if you could see or hear dogs within 50 feet of the property. I want to make it clear it didn’t cause an issue and I plan on going back again. My sister went along with me today and we totally enjoyed the time we spent there with my dog. I’m now at home and my dog is laying across my leg snoring very contentedly. Definitely rating our experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ plus!! 😁.
55Great big yard! The host had water and toys available for our pups! We’ll definitely be back 🐾
55The space was huge and beautifully maintained! Cheryl was very informative and communicated a few things of note before we arrived, and graciously offered to let us stay the full hour when I messaged her saying we were running late! Our dogs loved the space, so we definitely would’ve if it wasn’t so cold!
55Our dog loved sniffing aro
55Great spot! This was the perfect yard for the dogs to run around in. Cheryl provides everything you need for the dogs to have fun. Great fence security for one dog who is an escape artist. We’ll definitely be back!
55I visited this spot with two very energetic pups (one young puppy and one adult). They love to play and chase each other. This was more than enough space for them to enjoy their own antics and discover every fascinating nook, cranny, and inch of ground to stomp on without having to worry about unfamiliar or unfriendly dogs. Given the increasingly cooler weather, the spot had great sun to keep us warm. Cheryl keeps the yard beautifully and was truly hospitable giving thorough details on how to make our stay the most comfortable. My crew sufficiently tired themselves out. We'll definitely be back!

Description

Conveniently located right off 611, a great place to come and exercise your dog! The yard is 130 feet long by 90 feet wide. We will provide wifi (reaches throughout yard) by request! Also you do NOT need to pick up after your dog, but also MUST be okay when you see some droppings from ours or other sniff spot doggies! We leave water and tennis balls / frisbee out in back screened in patio. You may also use the human bathroom inside if we are home, just message. We also have a portable chair you can take into the yard. Oh and we do biweekly yard treatment for mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas! One warning: the wooden fence is old, if your dog is a digger or an escape artist, you might consider a dragger leash so you can correct if they are trying to get out. We also don’t recommend for dogs under 20 lbs due to how big the yard is, we lose our own small dog sometimes because he finds hiding spots! Plus there are some boards missing in the back fence, so small dogs could jump through though we do have wiring / stone to prevent this. Please note: we also have our basement dog wash sink listed on Sniff spot. Great for when you want to come run your dog, let them get a little muddy, then come on in to give them a bath. Happy to provide a link to that spot, it’s $20 per hour. We love dogs, foster dogs, have dogs, have a dog themed room — they are our world. We’d love to see you and your dog(s) enjoying our yard!! Sound like the perfect place? Book today! Side note: We foster dogs through a local rescue and accept donations of any type of doggy supplies or food you’d like to give. We will either use for our fosters or deliver to the rescues storage facility in Lansdale for other fosters to use, thanks for considering!!! We also dog sit in our home for $30 per night, get in touch to schedule.

Cleanliness

Hazards

We have a gazebo with an old pond next to it. We have filled and covered the pond with flat stones. We do not recommend your dog getting near this.

Fort Washington Fully Fenced Woodland Yard

About: Explore our heavily wooded, fenced yard which backs up to township wooded land. Lots to sniff as we regularly experience visits from all sorts of wildlife (deer, fox, bunnies, chipmunks, birds, squirrels, etc). We have two very large GSDs of our own who love chasing all the woodland creatures and frequently bring their toys outside so it wouldn't be surprising if your dog uncovers a ball or toy buried out there. New Deck Closed: For winter, deck is unavailable as the furniture and deck need to be cleaned for spring. Potential for deck amenities for pet parents available this summer. It's perfect for launching a ball off of - really tires our dogs out. Please note that some photos showcase an old deck. Updated photos will come soon. Warning: To keep the visit pleasant, please keep yourself and the pup(s) away from the glass door on the deck. As mentioned we have two large GSDs and they are protective of the house as is in their nature. Suggestions: Our yard is great for: - scent work as there are some many places to hide a scent. - tiring out your dog with a tougher game of fetch as there's a lot of foliage to throw a ball into to have them really use their noses - watching wildlife such as deer, birds, fox, etc. Warning: Backyard is positioned on a hill which may not be accessible if dog/humans have any mobility issues. You can avoid the hill by following the trail against the fence until it dead ends where you can walk through the clearing. In times of heavy rain, the space will get muddy. Clean towels can be provided - see extras.
