Hello to all dog or animal lovers! You’re welcome to bring your furry friends here for a stretch, walk or just to do something different. We welcome dogs of all sizes and even other animals if you choose. We do have two dogs of our own who use this area frequently. If you plan to use our area, give me a heads up by texting me or calling me at 704-773-3858 so I can make sure our dogs are up and that all of the amenities have been refreshed or replaced. This is our home, but you are more than welcome to use it as you are on your travels. Please be respectful of the neighborhood while you’re here. Feel free to park in our driveway as the entrance to the backyard is through the wrought iron gate, located at the end of the driveway the brick wall — you can’t miss it. I have a large backyard that my border collie loves to run around in. Fully fenced. The back end of my yard faces a big lot. One neighbor has a dog that is sometimes out and the dogs will race back-and-forth along the fence line. My dog is not outside dog so I am generally outside with him whenever he’s outside and I sit on the back porch. You can park on the street in front of my house. You would enter the backyard on the left side through the gate. I do not keep it locked, but I do put the carabiner through it so Smart dogs cannot lift up the latch. You are welcome to put your poop bags in my trashcan right there by the entrance to the backyard. Sometimes, if the dogs are lucky, they will be able to chase the bunny or squirrel. They definitely will have birds that they can chase around.

You can head off the property to go explore the nature trails around the lake with your favorite furry friends before heading home. There's a water bowl with fresh filtered water at all times. Easy access through the side gate and parking is on the street in front of our home, or at the clubhouse where you can walk the trail before heading into the yard for some physical fun, sniffing for enrichment or one-on-one time with space.
