After booking, the host messaged me with details on where to park and where it was, which was really nice! Once I got there, I had an feeling I needed to do a perimeter check before I took her leash off, and there was a back gate open. I was really glad I checked first! There was also a spot by the pool that would be easy for a small dog to get out of, and that worried me a little. Later, an off leash dog was in the woods behind and was barking at my dog a ton! It set off a bunch of other dogs to bark, and my reactive pup was a bit stressed. After that, there was a cat on the deck inside the sniff spot area. And I am SO glad I saw it before my dog got to her. That would have been a horrible situation. I quickly got her leash on and left. I wouldn’t recommend this sniff spot to reactive pups or dogs that are not good with other animals. I am sure this spot would be fantastic for bigger dogs who don’t have those things!
Gorgeous fenced in yard which was nice and shady around 4pm. There is a large deck with seating and plenty of space to run. My German Shepherd wore herself out before the time was up chasing balls up and down the hill.
