Description

Welcome to Pooch’s Paradise! I’m Kaitlyn, a professional dog trainer who owns Kaitlyn’s Dog Training. My dogs are basically my children, and the entire yard has been catered to them and my clients’ dogs. This half-acre yard is fully fenced (6 foot privacy, plus a 4-ft chain link surrounding a garden area), and even has a double-gate system to enter and exit, like you would see at a dog park to add extra safety. There are tons of enrichment activities available. I always have a wide variety of toys, a children’s climbing playset, a large ball pit, agility equipment (tunnels, a full AKC regulation size A frame and a small practice A Frame, a miniature agility dog walk, a teeter totter, a pause table, a full regulation size 16 foot PVC tunnel, a couple bar jumps, and a panel jump. Additional equipment being added soon, including a tire jump, weave poles, and eventually a regulation size dog walk.) ** I also have kiddie pools and/or a treat scavenger hunt I can add if you give advance notice and select it as an add-on option.** There’s a gazebo that offers shade and seating. There’s a tote by the entry gate that contains clean towels and also a Mudbuster tool for cleaning off paws. We do everything we can to provide the absolute best experience for you and your dog, and we think you’ll love it! The only dogs I have ever allowed on the property are vaccinated, healthy, and up-to-date on flea & tick prevention. All the pups who visit my home find that the yard is quite literally their own personal playground, and I know your dogs will love it too!

Extras

Birthday Pawty25 credits

If you’re throwing a birthday party for your dog (and hopefully bringing their best doggy friends to celebrate with them), use this Extra and I will decorate the yard with various dog birthday decorations and include party hats and treats for the pups.

Dog Safety Tools5 credits

If you have multiple dogs and would like to have some safety tools on hand in case of a dog fight, use this add-on. I will leave supplies including a loud air horn, and also citronella spray or a water bottle, as well as a large cardboard board (ideal for putting between two dogs). ***Dog safety tips are posted outside the gate, so check those out before entering.***

Kiddie Pool7 credits

When weather allows, I can set out some dog-friendly kiddie pools and fill them with fresh water so your pup can have fun and stay cool! **Note that these pools are not more than a foot tall, so they’re more for splashing and not swimming.**

I’m Kaitlyn Shamery, and my entire world revolves around dogs (and occasionally my husband or friends haha). After graduating from Bergin University of Canine Studies (where I learned how to train service dogs), I moved back to West Michigan and have been training dogs ever since. I have two dogs of my own who are basically my children. We bought this house specifically so we could give them a huge yard and spoil them, and I know your dogs will love it too!
