We had a wonderful time here. Lots of different types of habitat to explore and also a great location for a picnic or nap with your pups. Would recommend for pups with good recall or who can check in with their owner regularly while exploring. It was perfect for us!
Very cool area, lots of woods for your dogs to explore and a big field to run in.
This spot was perfect! We parked all the way in the back of the property and our dog had a great time running around the forest and playing fetch in the big open field. We really appreciated the toys too. We’ll definitely be back!
My dog and I had a great time! The mix of trails in the woods and big open spaces gave my dog plenty of opportunities both to run around and to sniff and explore.
Beautiful spot with large, wide open spaces. No fence, but it's not really necessary with the size of the area unless your dog is an extreme wanderer.
This was such a lovely experience. We came from Downtown Orlando to try and get some fresh air and a place to get out of the city vibe. From the start, Susan was communicative and helpful in answering my questions. Upon arrival, there was gorgeous open space, and a clear direction towards the woods. It was a perfect mix of defined trail and room to explore. The spaciousness made it easy to just relax and let my dog be a dog with all the running and sniffing. There were thoughtful touches including several boxes that had water and toys for the doggo. Even the ability to just pick a field and be un disturbed while we had a picnic lunch was great. Good mix of options for open play and fun adventuring in the woods. The weather was perfectly cool when we went, but I imagine you would want bug spray as backup if you go in the warmer months. Overall, 10 out if 10 experience and very grateful for being able to come enjoy the property.
Wonderful field, we haven’t explored the trails yet, but looking forward to that.
Nice mixture of open space and trail areas to explore. Check for ticks after. I wasn't too sure where to park but just pulled off the road near the white fence and parked there.
Beautiful land :) Pups had a great time running and exploring. The property is unfenced but if you’re pups tend to stay near you it shouldn’t be an issue! Our pups don’t tend to venture far from us so it was awesome! We put a blanket on the ground as the pups explored! It was so quiet and peaceful! Definitely recommend!
Great place! Lots of room. Nice trails in the woods. A pretty blend of woods, trails and fields. Made for a nice travel break. Highly recommended!

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Our ranch currently has no land improvements, which means that you’ll have to bring your own water, snacks, poo bags, and flashlights if you book early or late in the day. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. So be prepared for an encounter with a gentle Florida wilderness. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much needed! We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are very rare. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are unkempt. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoys lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic chairs. We usually turn them sideways when we leave so they don’t collect rainwater. There are a couple cones and tires and poles around the sitting area and you’re welcome to rearrange them for your dog’s needs. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do!
Beautiful maintain lawn area for your pup(s). In a cul de sac with plenty of parking. Entry through either fence and have a screened in porch with plenty of seating
Fenced-in backyard with space for dogs to exercise. Water hose available. Plenty of seats around the fire pit. Lights at night. No indoor restrooms or covered space from rain so plan accordingly.
This is a completely fenced-in property with plenty of room for your fur babies to run and play while you relax under one of the 5 shade trees on site, or just lay out a picnic in the grass. The kids are also not left out, there is an on site petting zoo where your kiddos can meet with the goats, ducks, and chickens on site and have plenty of room to enjoy themselves. If you are looking for a quite, relaxing, spot then there is none better. See you soon.
This is the fenced in backyard of my father’s house which is next to my house. He travels a lot so isn’t always home. Places to sit and screened porch as well if needed for shade or cover from rain. We own the vacant lot in between our houses so you can park in the driveway or can pull up in the grass of the lot right next to the gate of the backyard.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IN ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING: This property is 1.7 acres total, but has approximately 1.5 acres of usable space for dog recreation. __________ Description The front yard is mostly shaded and grassy. The north yard has been planted in native plant species--please do not allow dogs to dig in this area or tear up the delicate native plants as it has taken a lot of time, money, and energy to semi-restore this area for native wildlife and pollinators. Its a great area for sniffing, running, and playing games of "ball search." There is a garden on the SW side of the property that is not fenced off from the rest of the yard, and a large mulched area behind it. Please keep dogs out of the garden beds, but running through the mulched area behind it is fine. _______ Wildlife There is a gopher tortoise burrow along the fenceline near the mulched area. Gopher tortoises are a state threatened species. It is a crime to disturb this state protected species, and dogs are one of the biggest threats to their populations. If ANY disturbance is found near the gopher tortoise burrow, the host WILL contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and pursue appropriate venues to press charges. KEEP DOGS AWAY FROM THE GOPHER TORTOISE AND ITS BURROW. The host of this property does not allow any harassment of native wildlife (with the exception of gray squirrels*) including moles, pocket gophers, snakes, and the resident gopher tortoise. *Chasing gray squirrels is alright, as they have become a nuisance to the solar panels and roof.* No venomous snakes have been seen on the property for at least 2 years, when the current owners bought the home, but the host recommends staying away from the mostly unused blue shed in the backyard, next to which there is wood piled, as this makes good escape cover for snakes, though none have been seen in this area yet. _________________________ Dog Wash and Training Area The chainlink fenced area behind the house is a training and wash area. There is some agility equipment laying in the porch and an area of rocks where you can bathe your dog. There is a hose and usually soap on the windowsill. A water station is also available in this area, though you may have to turn on the faucet. _________________ Dog Poop Cleanup A poop scoop is available in the dog wash area and a small, white poop trash bin is next to it. If the bin is full, or poop is far from this small cleanup station, use poop bags instead. Poop bags are available in the black, diamond-shaped dispenser to the left of the garage. Please place used poop bags in the large black trash bin by the gate on your way out. Other than that, enjoy your time here! You can find more pictures of the property @TheSalvagedSandhill on Instagram.
1.6 fully fenced private acres. Off-road parking on grass for 3-4 vehicles available, plus more along the side of the road. Sniffspot is accessed by a large chained gate with combination lock. Our 3 dogs are occasionally in an adjacent fenced area. Although we put up a visual barrier in that area, they may bark when you are nearby. NEW: Look for our SniffFind (small container like a geocache) while you are visiting! When you find it, sign the logbook and return it to its hiding spot. We have a number of fun features for dogs, including three BIG tires to run through or jump on top of (dogs only please!), four smaller tires to run through, a colorful A-frame, a wooden spool, and a fire hydrant just for fun. There is a concrete table and bench seating - bring your picnic lunch. Running water and dog bowls are available across the field from the entrance gate, along with a poop scoop and large trash can. Toys, bug spray, and poop bags are located inside the tool box seat near the entrance. We can also host dog birthday parties, gotcha day parties, or breed/litter get-togethers! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions at all.
Our small farm is a perfect place for your furry (or not so furry) friends to enjoy the zoomies to their hearts content!!!
G2 Barn Hunt offers a 9 acre pasture with plenty of shade. A water trough with steps is provided for swimming as well as a fresh water bowl for drinking. It is completely fenced with field fence. Be aware of holes that dogs have dug going after moles. It is a great location for dogs to dig and run! I will be adding a hammock and a smaller trough in the near future. A trash can and dog bags are available. There is plenty of shaded parking under the beautiful live oaks! A porta-potty is on site. Lots of area for your dogs to have a blast and run around!
