55The hosts have thought of everything — fresh water and so many different toys for pets and hand sanitizer/bug spray and a bench for people! I will definitely be coming back soon
55It was easy to find, area well-maintained, lots of toys available of different varieties, auto-refill water bowl for fresh clean water. My puppy had so much fun!
55We had so much fun at the zoomie zone park! You can tell that the area is created with lots of love and intention for fellow doggies to play in. All of the toys were an amazing addition. There is also water in case your dog gets thirsty. The area is large enough that my heeler was able to run around in comfortably! We did the treat extra, which the owner left by the bench and had Milo’s name. Again, this shows that the zoomie zone really cares about you and your dog feeling comfortable. Overall I’d highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back!
55We visited this spot for the first time today and will definitely be back. I took my two Dobermans and there was more than enough room for them to run around, wrestle, chase, etc. I love the variety of toys and activities the host provides, my younger pup really enjoyed the tug toy that it attached to the tree. There is also an abundance of other things that make this spot great. There is tons of shade, an automatic water bowl, dedicated hooks and a bench for your personal items, and the neighborhood seems quiet. The host is also very easy to get in touch with and was more than accommodating. Definitely reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns. One thing to note is that the ground is mostly mulch/leaf litter so if your dog likes to roll around or wrestle like mine do they will get dirty. A baby wipe pretty much solved this problem within a minute so it is by no means a big deal.

Description

Zoomies: a high-speed, reckless, frantic, exhilarating, and completely unstoppable run. An outward showcase of inner happiness. In my role as a Rover sitter, I regularly care for dogs seeking heightened mental and physical engagement in contrast to the confines of apartment life. To address this, I've curated a secluded, shaded area in my backyard exclusively for you and your furry friend to unleash energy with minimal distractions from approaching dogs Understanding that dogs thrive when their innate needs are met, I've tailored the space accordingly. For sight hounds, there's a flirt pole to satisfy their urge to chase. Border collies can indulge their herding instincts with a dedicated herding ball, while scent hounds can engage in nose work with scattered treats across the area ( your own, or mine for additional charge) Consider this space your dog's personal playground, where they can exert themselves fully before returning to your apartment, assured of a restful night's sleep. Our collection of toys includes a flirt pole, bungee tethered tree tug, frisbee, Chuck It fetch arms, herding ball, and herding egg, with the exciting addition of a Swift Paws Course lure coming soon! For your convenience, we've arranged several amenities for your own comfort: - A dedicated 💩 bag station and trash can ensure cleanliness. You'll have access via a smart padlock for easy entry. Enjoy your favorite tunes with our Bluetooth speaker. - Keep your leash handy with our leash hanger. - Stay connected with WiFi access via QR code. - Relax in seating for two while your furry friend plays. - Convenient parking is available onsite. Please note that we have two dogs of our own, but they will be safely inside or fenced off on their side of the yard during your visit, ensuring a peaceful environment for you and your companion.

North Star Ranch Private Dog Park In Archer

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Our ranch currently has no land improvements, which means that you’ll have to bring your own water, snacks, poo bags, and flashlights if you book early or late in the day. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. So be prepared for an encounter with a gentle Florida wilderness. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much needed! We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are very rare. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are unkempt. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoys lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic chairs. We usually turn them sideways when we leave so they don’t collect rainwater. There are a couple cones and tires and poles around the sitting area and you’re welcome to rearrange them for your dog’s needs. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IN ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING: This property is 1.7 acres total, but has approximately 1.5 acres of usable space for dog recreation. __________ Description The front yard is mostly shaded and grassy. The north yard has been planted in native plant species--please do not allow dogs to dig in this area or tear up the delicate native plants as it has taken a lot of time, money, and energy to semi-restore this area for native wildlife and pollinators. Its a great area for sniffing, running, and playing games of "ball search." There is a garden on the SW side of the property that is not fenced off from the rest of the yard, and a large mulched area behind it. Please keep dogs out of the garden beds, but running through the mulched area behind it is fine. _______ Wildlife There is a gopher tortoise burrow along the fenceline near the mulched area. Gopher tortoises are a state threatened species. It is a crime to disturb this state protected species, and dogs are one of the biggest threats to their populations. If ANY disturbance is found near the gopher tortoise burrow, the host WILL contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and pursue appropriate venues to press charges. KEEP DOGS AWAY FROM THE GOPHER TORTOISE AND ITS BURROW. The host of this property does not allow any harassment of native wildlife (with the exception of gray squirrels*) including moles, pocket gophers, snakes, and the resident gopher tortoise. *Chasing gray squirrels is alright, as they have become a nuisance to the solar panels and roof.* No venomous snakes have been seen on the property for at least 2 years, when the current owners bought the home, but the host recommends staying away from the mostly unused blue shed in the backyard, next to which there is wood piled, as this makes good escape cover for snakes, though none have been seen in this area yet. _________________________ Dog Wash and Training Area The chainlink fenced area behind the house is a training and wash area. There is some agility equipment laying in the porch and an area of rocks where you can bathe your dog. There is a hose and usually soap on the windowsill. A water station is also available in this area, though you may have to turn on the faucet. _________________ Dog Poop Cleanup A poop scoop is available in the dog wash area and a small, white poop trash bin is next to it. If the bin is full, or poop is far from this small cleanup station, use poop bags instead. Poop bags are available in the black, diamond-shaped dispenser to the left of the garage. Please place used poop bags in the large black trash bin by the gate on your way out. Other than that, enjoy your time here!
