This is a great new spot, not very big but a nice little loop in the woods to run my big dogs around. We went in the pouring rain so we got muddy. There are poop bags and some toys available. I will definitely return
The space is beautiful! I took my medium size dogs and one of them realized immediately that she could slip under the soft plastic fencing and it gave me a scare so we didn’t stay too long. Would be a really wonderful spot for anyone whose dogs don’t need sturdy fencing
Such a cool spot! One big trail circle. My dogs had lots of fun exploring. A nice break from playing fetch.
It was our first ever SniffSpot. This location was not very big. We found it to be well fenced for our dog, who wasn’t at all interested in escaping, but he explored the entire space within 15-20 minutes and we were ready to go in 30. It was really shaded so would be a good on a hot day and we really love the concept to allow our dog off leash time in a very safe and controlled environment but we will be exploring other options next time.
Like several other people said, I kinda expected it to be bigger but it still was a lovely spot. Clean and no mud!! The wood chips made it super easy to pick up poop. My biggest critique is that some of the fencing is loose and my guy tried to squeeze under the fence and the gate (cuz he’s a turd that wanted to play with their dog). Thankfully he’s a 95lbs golden and didn’t fit. On that note, their dog came up to the fence for a bit at one point and was very calm and totally fine with my dog who is only reactive to other intact males, but I know some people have more reactive dogs so keep that in mind! Overall it was a good experience and I would be happy to come back.
Will book again.
Overall, this is a peaceful spot and would be a great stop off the freeway for a play break. The entrance route is well marked; the shelter would be welcome on a rainy day; and despite it being set back in the woods, it's open enough for me to feel safe by myself. The fenced space felt smaller than I expected (walking and sniffing, we covered all the trails in less than 5 minutes). The plastic construction netting is a bit loose at the top and would not have stopped my medium-sized dog if she had seen a squirrel or rabbit, but fortunately, there was no wildlife present at the time we visited (late afternoon). Note that there are also some places at the edges of the shelter where a small to medium-sized dog could push through/under. The trails are indeed rough, as noted in the listing, with large wood chips and lots of blackberry bushes and thorns. While this spot wasn't my individual dog's cup of tea, it's great to have a new Sniffspot in this area of the county, and I'm sure a lot of dogs (and their people) will enjoy spending time here.
Great spot, fencing is secure and contained my professional fence inspectors. Not as much usable space as expected due to brush but still plenty of room for dogs to run and explore. Dogs were distracted by both another dog on property and people working around the property but nobody came close!
Fabulous new spot for a great romp. Clearly marked to the entrance. Fantastic covered area (see photo). Be prepared for a bit of a muddy path. I was fine in tennis shoes. Can’t wait to come back! 🐕🦺
