Smaller than I expected but I love how they made the land so fun for the dogs with the different builds. Will definitely return for more :)

  • Amy P., Feb 28, 2024

My dogs had a fun time, but when we got back to the car - I noticed one of my dogs' paws was really bleeding. There was a lot of thorny berry branches and other woodsy debris scattered throughout. Just be mindful.

As advertised! Clean and fun for the pups to play on the structures!

  • Melissa R., Feb 20, 2024

The fenced area had a lot of places to sniff & dig & explore, both humans ended up missing the turn due to no signage but we recognized it from the photos. There was some hunting or shooting practice happening near by but luckily our dogs didn’t seem to mind they were having so much fun. Thanks for lending us your space!

I was surprised at how clean it was given it spends the weekdays as a doggie day care! No stray dog poops. Bring your own water.

  • Sela R., Feb 16, 2024

Lovely spot, fencing is perfect and dogs loved the variety of the space

  • Emily C., Feb 13, 2024

It was a little muddy but overall pretty good!

  • Marsha H., Feb 13, 2024

The spot was great but some signage would have been nice with the no trespassing/private property signs. I had to triple check to make sure I was in the right spot but still felt a bit uneasy the whole visit.

  • Grey J., Feb 10, 2024

My pup absolutely loved this place!

  • Tonya K., Feb 10, 2024

Always a lot of fun. Give or take the people going by with dogs (no, he cannot come say hi to my reacting dog). But that's not the spot's fault. I will mention that almost every time we go I find old broken glass that seems to work its way up through the dirt. For me it's a risk vs rewards consideration, so I still give 5 stars but ethically have to point it out.

Hi! My name is Tanya and I own Timber Paws Dog Day Camp (timberpaws.com) in Bellingham, WA. Our service operates during the week, so we make our fully fenced-in dog park area available to Sniffspot during the weekends and outside weekday operating hours (10:00 am - 2:30 pm).

WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k
