Step into our fully fenced in dog park nestled in a beautiful forest full of cedars, maples, and many many ferns. The dogs will be so mentally engaged jumping over logs, dodging through ferns and playing with sticks galore. There is a path worn in around the perimeter of the zone, but feel free to romp where ever you please if you dare! There are poop bags and a bucket for these at the front gate. Please note- the road through the property to reach sniff spot is gravel!

Available Oct 31-March31, these are seasonally available pastures, grazed during the warmer months. 15+ fully fenced grassy acres, including a pond. Acreage is divided into 3 areas, with gates open or closed to limit or expand running space. Higher areas are drier, puddles in the lower spots. Pastures are vacant through the winter months. Parking is along a private gravel dead-end road. There is a SniffSpot sign on the double green gate. There are occasional dog-walkers along the road, but otherwise the spot is private.

Also keep in mind that the trails are on a hill and there is a chance you may see deer, coyote, squirrels, bear or other forest animals that may potentially cross through our property. Please contact me ASAP if your dog has ALLERGIES!** Based in South Langley, BC, this indoor area is designed from the dog’s perspective and features sensory plants such as lavender, rosemary, basil, and mint, flowers, wheat grass and baby trees, as well as recycled objects with a scent history, including children’s toys, horse blankets, shoes, hats, and gloves. Scented cloths, feathers, and other items with various animal scents are also available. Dogs see a range of blues and yellows, so items have been chosen to reflect this, offering a visual experience as well as an olfactory workout. Various textiles are used to enhance the sense of touch in indoor spaces, including non-slip mats made of nylon, foam, and fur, as well as hanging items to brush against, such as scarves and beads. As your dog moves around and explores, they will discover natural treats hidden in boxes, puzzles, snuffle mats and even ball pits. The Praise Dog Enrichment Room gives your dog the opportunity to simply be a dog, making their own choices and exploring at their own pace. For this reason, a maximum of 2 dogs (from the same household) may visit at a time, as long as there is no resource guarding behaviour. As all dogs are unique, each experience is planned on an individual basis, taking into account your dog’s preferences, age and ability, character and behaviour, and the layout is adapted accordingly. It is also an opportunity to relax and simply observe your dog’s natural behaviour. On subsequent visits, the environment can be changed to reflect your dog’s preferences or provide additional opportunities.

10+ Acres of Wooded Trails on Private Dog Park In Mt. Vernon

Our property requires a walk up a hill to access the Sniffspot once you have parked. Once you reach the top you have just over 10 acres to explore on old forest roads and trails. We have very thick brush on the south, west and north sides of the property and the east side is fenced in. We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on. There is a lot of wildlife around the area and that lives and sleeps in our property to lots to sniff but be aware for off leash recall if a bunny or deer passes by.

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Fully/securely fenced 20 acre spot with a field & orchard in the front. The back half is forested and has maintained trails throughout. Features include covered picnic tables in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, balls/toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams & ponds in the woods during the wet season. Gravel, woodchips & foot bridges keep the main trails in decent shape but there's easy access to mud & water so expect a wet, dirty pup. Outdoor hose and rinse station provided. Waterproof traction boots, rainwear + towels recommended. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested.
