Description

The Dog Farm is a specialized dog rescue and rehabilitation initiative in eastern North Carolina on the shores of the Pamlico. We focus on Plott Hounds and other hunting breeds but can help any dog learn the joys of being a loved family member. Pricing is $5 per dog per hour. Play dates with Dog Farm dogs can be arranged. Be careful walking, the dogs dig holes and they’re not great at filling them back up. It’s ok if your dog would like to dig some holes, too, we’ll fill them later!

2 Mile Hike Along The Pamlico20 credits

Enjoy a guided hike through the historic forests of southeastern Beaufort County with beautiful views of the Pamlico River, and learn about how Maule’s Point was established in the 1700’s and what has happened since.

Bottled water for people (the garden hose and dog bowls are always available).

Dog Wash Bucket10 credits

Includes dog shampoo, towels, brush and treats. Use garden hose (cold) or hot/cold outdoor shower (overhead only currently but large plastic pitcher will be provided to fill with warm water). Just leave towels on the bench and shampoo in shower area and we’ll clean up for you!
