Description

The Dog Farm is a specialized dog rescue and rehabilitation initiative in eastern North Carolina on the shores of the Pamlico. We focus on Plott Hounds and other hunting breeds but can help any dog learn the joys of being a loved family member. Pricing is $5 per dog per hour. Play dates with Dog Farm dogs can be arranged. Hazards

Be careful walking, the dogs dig holes and they’re not great at filling them back up. It’s ok if your dog would like to dig some holes, too, we’ll fill them later!

2 Mile Hike Along The Pamlico$20

Enjoy a guided hike through the historic forests of southeastern Beaufort County with beautiful views of the Pamlico River, and learn about how Maule’s Point was established in the 1700’s and what has happened since.

Bottled Water$1

Bottled water for people (the garden hose and dog bowls are always available).

Dog Wash Bucket$10

Includes dog shampoo, towels, brush and treats. Use garden hose (cold) or hot/cold outdoor shower (overhead only currently but large plastic pitcher will be provided to fill with warm water). Just leave towels on the bench and shampoo in shower area and we’ll clean up for you!

I can't say enough about this sniffspot!! Lulu LOVED every single second! When I say LOVED I do mean LOVED! She felt totally at home right out of the truck! She did some swimming, digging, lots of sniffing and exploring.... What a wonderful happy time she had!!! Also, Kelly, the host, is absolutely AMAZING!

Hi, I’m Kelly. I run a small dog rescue initiative in eastern NC and my life is pretty much devoted to improving the lives of dogs and the people who care for them. I’ve also been a Realtor and Property Manager for 19 years, so finding animal-friendly homes and neighborhoods is something I’m really good at.

It's out Carolina Pines between New Bern and Havelock NC. A quiet safe community with plenty of space, also have caged area inside yard for those dogs needing solidarity. I have two dogs on the premises and take hygiene and discipline seriously. My home is a safe haven for dogs, I will love them like no other. No dog abuse allowed here only training with rewards not punishment. My home is a faith-based location and all are welcomed. God bless you and your fur babies.

Our facility is up open to you! 5 acres with an open field, a fenced in play area, a pond, and a 50x60' arena with turf (DO NOT LET YOUR DOG POTTY ON THE TURF). Agility equipment is available to you and be moved how you like to practice new things with your pup or maybe you'd like them to stretch their legs with a nice stroll around the field. Whatever you decide you would like to do, I'm sure we have what it takes to make your pup happy. We please ask that you clean up after your pet. There is a trash can and poop bags provided. We also ask that you shut the red gate behind you once finished. Rules: •No Classes or Lessons will be booked through this company. Please reach out to Wild Child Dog Training to set up lessons or class times. You will be banned if caught. •There is livestock on this property. It is your responsibility to make sure you keep your dog under control to not cause harm to the other animals. •Be honest about the number of dogs you’re bringing
