Welcome to Maize’s Oasis! Does your dog prefer to play solo? Maybe the dog park has become a stressor for both you and your dog- I know it did for us! We bought our house largely because of its spacious backyard, and built the fence for our reactive and very playful/active fur baby. It has been worth every $ and labor hour spent to see him enjoy it. THANK YOU for booking with us as it has allowed us to donate over $2K dollars to non profit shelter organizations to date! We do this for dogs - no other reason. Our lives have become significantly busier in the last year and we often discuss how much easier it would be to close the spot. But there are so many wonderful pet owners who need a space for their dogs to roam comfortably, and we love that our yard can offer that while supporting shelters. Any money we’ve made from reservations goes to these shelters: Elmbrook Humane, Wisconsin Humane, MADACC, and Jack’s Playground. **Are you a foster dog paw-rent? We have a discount code for you! -No dogs on the patio furniture, please! -Please do not arrive early to your reservation. If you do, you must notify us ahead of time so we can ensure our dog is put away. -We ask that you limit the TOTAL number of human visitors to 2 max per dog, with no more than 2 cars per dog please. This is out of respect for our neighbors as we live in a quiet, suburban neighborhood so we’d like to avoid large gatherings in the backyard. If you have children that need to come with you, just shoot us a note.

We are dog people in every sense of the term- our fence was built for our “Alabama special” shelter dog, Maize, who’ve we had for 7 years and treat like our child 😅Seeing how happy it makes him to run in a safe and secure spot, we love that we can share our space with other pet parents!

Newly installed fully fenced in area approximately 2600 ft. Does have a small Hill in one spot. We do treat the lawn with a dog friendly pesticide company because there are so many mosquitoes here. So basically our backyard doesn't have many mosquitoes at all. There is access to water and we have a splash pad available. It's a nice area to come and let your dogs just run and play. There are some spots in the fence that are not all the way to the ground so if you have a very little dog it may not be ideal. There are toys in the toybox. We have one designated parking spot that's off the road at the end of the driveway.
