This a a great spot for Brooklyn! You have the use of the first floor of the home as well as the backyard. Great seating areas. Enough room for my two large pups to play. Lawrence was very welcoming. Would definitely book it again.
Host replied: Thanks Jen H for being such a great guest. You left the space in immaculate shape. You and your pups are welcome back anytime I have availability.
Lawrence has such a great setup. It was a hot day, but the area was shaded and very comfortable (recommend the hammock!). Plenty of space for my girl Fran to get some energy out. For dogs that need to really run, it's probably too small. But tug o war then a nap? Absolutely. Fran is a fan!
Host replied: Thanks Kayleigh! It was great having you for the first time and I look forward to your next visit! There are a few ways to arrange the furniture where pups can sprint from the back door to the end of the garden (60 ft one way and over a 100 ft if they quickly turnaround and run back). It can be tricky to see or feel this potential however with the hammock where it was placed for your visit. To give an example, our 60lb sharpei-pit mix pup actually sprints, particularly when she has zoomies, down from the top of the stairs, through the doggie door at full speed, 60 ft to the back of the yard, hopping in one of the dirt tires we reserved for her and pups to jump in and dig in in the back, and sprinting back. Well over a 150ft dash. We are in central Brooklyn, so space is a luxury and you have to be creative here but I would love to help you maximize the use of the space for you and your pup next time!
Purposefully focused on animal care and real estate. I care about well designed spaces for people and pups.
