We just visited for the second time and our dog Doc had the most wonderful time. The spot was nice and clean and the grass was trimmed, so we were able to let him run around freely without worrying. Thank you so much, Luisa, it's so awesome to be able to let him enjoy time outside off leash!

Host replied: Im so glad Doc got to enjoy his time in our yard. Your welcome back anytime!

Host was great and easy to communicate. Our energetic pup was able to run and hop up and down the step. We will be back soon!

Host replied: So glad Pretzel enjoyed himself! Thx for the positive review!

We loved this spot! It’s close to the city and very quiet. We didn’t see any other dogs or people. A great place for my anxious pup to decompress!

Host replied: Hi Laura! Im glad to hear Samson enjoyed his time in our spot and that he was able to relax and just enjoy his freedom without any stressors. Visit again anytime!

Luisa was very communicative, and the yard was so nice and peaceful! She confirmed in advanced when the yard was mowed, and even left us some bug spray as recent rain has mean a few extra mosquitos. Lots of room for my dog to run around! It was so peaceful with no other dogs around and hardly anyone walking by, and my dog eventually just laid down and sniffed the air. For a city dog who rarely gets true off-leash time, this was just incredible. And I had a great time, too! Would highly recommend Luisa’s yard and will definitely be back :)

Host replied: Im so glad you and Shirley enjoyed your time. You are welcome back anytime!

I booked very last min and they did not have time to mow, but Luisa offered to refund me. It was very sweet considering my dog still had a great time and the yard was not crazy overgrown. Great space and very shady. My dog enjoyed it and I myself enjoyed hanging in the shade and reading. It is very isolated in the back so he was not distracted or stressed by other dogs walking on the street. Very convenient location for me and I’ll for sure be back.

Host replied: Thanks so much for your positive review! Im glad you and your pup enjoyed your time in our yard. Hope you can come back again soon as we will be using our newly delivered mower by Tuesday.

Firstly…… communication to me is of upmost importance when visiting a place for the 1st time. Luisa did it instantly! She explained to me that she had been on vaca and was not able to trim grass, which was ok with me because my fur baby loves grass and she is fully vaccinated and up to date with all things to protect her. We entered the space and she ran around and had a great time. Luisa left me a lovely note and bug spray (thank you :) ) The spot was perfect for her type of dog. I also felt SAFE and this is so important in our area. Def will be going back. I appreciate what Luisa has done with her yard because there are no areas that are fenced in that are safe. There’s ALWAYS an issue at every dog park and here she can run and play with no problem. Thank you Luisa see you soon! Lisette Leston

Yard was fenced and in a quiet neighborhood but overall not a good space to bring our dog. Very overgrown grass and weeds that hid old poop, trash, and rotting vegetables. It was a perfect breeding ground for tons of mosquitoes. After 5 minutes, we were covered in dozens of bites and our dog had old poop smeared on his face. We tried to stay a little bit but ultimately couldn’t really enjoy playing there.

Host replied: As discussed in our private messages, we do apologize for your unhappy visit and have refunded all charges immediately. As explained, while on vacation we were unable to maintain the grass to a shorter level, but will be sure to fix that shortly. I do hope this lowers the mosquitos, however, please understand that we do not use pesticides for the safety of all animals, so some mosquitos will remain. We will make sure to do run throughs before each visit to make sure there is nothing but grass left in the yard,

Come alone with your dog, with doggie friends or maybe a doggie birthday "pawty" (pawty packages available). We love being a part of Sniffspot and providing a safe space for dogs to get exercise and explore. I have (and have had) reactive dogs and understand the struggles to find fun and safe spaces for them to explore. Come here and enjoy a fully fenced backyard with pool (optional extra fee). Fence height 4 - 5 feet. Large park like setting with grassy flat area for dogs to romp and play. There are dog bowls available and a hose for water. There is a patio seating area with table and chairs as well as a furnished gazebo to sit and enjoy some shade. A large mulberry tree also provides some nice shade with an available hammock to share with your furry friend. There is a heated built in pool, which is separately fenced for safety, and available for use with minimal additional fee. Dog toys available for in and out of the pool. For pool users we offer several sizes of dog swim vests from XS to XL, floats and lounge chairs. I also offer a supply of bug spray and sunscreens. Their humans (1-2 adults only per dog) are also allowed to enter with the dog as long as the human is interacting/playing with the dog (if no dog in the pool, then no people in the pool). I do my best to clean/skim the hair out of the pool between guests IF I am home. Unfortunately, I am not always home and cannot attend to the pool in between, and I apologize in advance if there is hair from a previous guest. I have a robot skimmer which may be floating in the pool to help keep if clean. If it is in the pool, please remove before entering and replace when you are done (there are instructions on how to do that at the pool). If you have a dog that may heavily shed, perhaps brush if possible before attending so that less hair enters the pool. We want to keep it nice and clean for all of our guests so everyone has a positive experience. We also do not want to put extra stress on the pool filter so we can keep it running for everyone to use. I also leave a skimmer net by the pool if needed. FYI...It's NJ so the pool is only open from May until mid September.
