Barkingham Palace and Pool

We had lots of fun with Brady! He just turned 6 years old yesterday so we wanted to celebrate with him. The place was super nice and clean, many toys and new places to sniff. Brady had a blast with the pool (even though he was scared at first) We forgot his vest but luckily there was one there for him! Only downside was the neighbors dogs who kept barking and jumping on the fence. Brady would get distracted and run over there many times but it’s okay! Would definitely recommend for water doggos and all other dogs! Loved this visit.

An amazing space with a great pool and plenty of room to run. Also loved all the toys and the available doggy life jacket (bc I forgot ours…typical human)! Really just had the best time with my boy! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot! The yard is very well-kept, the grass is trimmed and totally safe to run around barefoot with your pup. The pool is awesome: it’s deeper on one end and more shallow on the other, and there are convenient wide steps to get in, and an extra step on another side, just very comfortable structure. The spot was very easy to access and the description is 100% accurate: we did not see a single person during our stay but occasionally heard the neighbors’ dogs through the tall wooden fence, but you cannot see them at all. No gaps in the fence either, very solid enclosure, we felt comfortable letting our little escape artist roam around freely. The hosts left A LOT of toys for the pups in the yard, including two awesome water guns. They even had a water bowl and a swimming vest for dogs! The chairs (there are 4 seating spots total, 2 rocking chairs) are very comfy and relaxing, with little umbrellas above them to hide you from the sun. There is also a little bar table where you can put your speaker or food and enjoy it while you’re there. Also, the pool looks beautiful in the sunset! Overall our pups really loved it and it was very comfortable for humans too. 10/10 spot, will be coming again!

So great! Easy to access and lots of space. My Aussie hasn’t been able to swim in a long time so he had a blast. So thankful spaces like this are available, thank you hosts!

Me and my pup had a great time! This was her first time checking out a pool. The pool has steps to enter and was plenty deep!

Loved it! Lots of room for the pups to roam around and the pool was amazing!

We had such a fun time at this spot! They had so many fun water toys for dogs and humans. We would go again!

They offer toys and a life vest for your pup! A good fence with no gaps or holes. My pup loved it and loved running around with the space from the backyard. Left today with a tired and happy doggie 💜
