Amazing location! Pretty dry right now considering the recent heat, and my dog had a blast running amuck. Also used the self wash option and it was super convenient. Definitely would recommend and will definitely be returning.
Very easy to get to and lots of space to roam. Very tall grass- over 3 ft. It was not a place to play fetch. If you have a runner it might be hard to find them if they don’t come back on command.
This land was so nice to visit and Chloe was communicative and friendly! My golden retrievers enjoyed playing fetch in the tall grass. Directions were clear and only a 30 minute drive from Portland. Will visit again! ㅤᵕ̈ thank you again!
Host replied: I’m so glad!! :)
Great spot! We had a blast! The grass is very tall & overgrown (nearly 3 ft tall) which provides great enrichment for adventurous pups who love to frolic. There are some areas that are a bit shorter, maybe 1 ft tall. The whole place is fenced but I kept my pup on a long line in case of wildlife sightings :)
Great space to explore
Great spot! Our dog loved running around through all the tall plants.
This spot is so overgrown at this time of year it made it near impossible for the dogs to run around. They’d get lost in the tall grass and not really want to venture out.. I have large active dogs and they tend to be confident about these types of things. It was a disappointment given how large the area is! Couldn’t play fetch because the balls would get lost in the shrub. The boarded up structure really added to the run down vibe. There was no water and no effort to make this abandoned field feel more welcoming. The dogs did make friends with the hog on the other side of the fence though haha.
Host replied: The boarded up structure was weather protection for our hogs. (They are gone now) unfortunately because the back field is a natural wet land the county will not allow us to mow or maintain it. I am sorry your pups did not have a good time. We would mow it if we could!
This sniffspot is incredible. There is so much space for our reactive old dog to just run and play. We found a small mud puddle, so the dog wash was perfect! We will definitely be back
Place way great, host met me at the main gate to their property. She was very friendly told me where to park, she communicated great via text and in person. This was thors first time going to a sniff spot, he barked in the car while I was talking to the host, she didn’t care one bit. He had an absolute blast. Playing hind In seek in the tall glass. They had a poop can in front of the gate where we parked. We will definitely be back when it’s raining. 10/10
We had so much fun here! Huge space with lots of very tall grass to leap through! Was dry for the most part but there are some very deep muddy spots. Definitely wear pants and boots and bring lots of water… also maybe pop a Claritin as there are nice wild flowers out right now. We will definitely be back!
