It's a small about 1/4 acre of land in my back yard that's not being used for anything. I was going to start a garden on it but don't currently have the time and can afford to rent it out for a little while. I do have chickens on the other side of the yard however, so even if your animal can't control themselves they'll need to be trained enough to not go for them per command. I say this as my dog ruby will go for them unless I say otherwise. Also my dogs are in the front yard. If you wish to rent out the front yard it'll be $15 an hour instead of $4 an hour as I will have to put my dogs up in the bathroom.
