Fully fenced! The back fence is a little helter skelter at the moment, so not the best for escape artist dogs, ie super diggers or super jumpers. I am working on getting a few more fence posts in to make it more stable and a few small holes...

Located just 15 minutes outside of Lodi, off of the Interstate 5, escape to a perfect getaway spot for the pups to run in the breeze while you peer upon the gorgeous San Joaquin River, while pleasure boats and jet skis cruise by and the odd oil tanker ship pushes through.

Like everywhere there is some potential risk, on this property I try to keep the grass down, but it gets out of hand quickly so it generates some Foxtails and blackberry bushes. And the soil is always moving from rain and whatnot so there’s some uneven ground so watch your step. I’ve got couple oleander trees, and a tree that some bees love, so it’s beautiful, but there are bees present specifically right next to that tree. Some of the palms are a bit pokey too. Other allergy possibilities are just dust and seasonal things like pollen and what not. Now one reason I’ve got a fence all around is because of the coyotes, I have never seen them, not one, but I hear them sometimes at night. There are cats that wonder on to the property from time to time as well. And the back fence has a couple wire tie offs, I tucked them as much as possible, I just want to give you a heads up so maybe try to keep them away from the far corner. Apologies for the jerry rigging in the back corner where the wheelbarrow is. The place is a work in progress. It will get better, at the moment there are some piles of branches that I cut too, ergo the drop in price. It’ll all be cleaned up pretty soon. Still will be a fun place for a pup without a doubt. Late entry: I will not stop you from letting your pooch jump into the river I haven’t a doubt it would be fun for water lovers, however its not fenced and has some current most of the time. As seen in photos it’s is kind of a boulder entry to the water so watch your step there too if you choose to walk down too.

We’ve fenced off an area for dogs to be able to roam free. We remember what it was like trying to find a spot to let our dogs off leash and so we thought we’d offer that to others. During the summer the area is dry and can get windy in the afternoons. There is good well water accessible for drinking, a watering station for the dogs and a trash bin for you to place your dog droppings. Please remember this is a working property with livestock, so if that is something you are unsure of it’s probably best to ask or not book.
