55Dogs had a great time! There were geese that were quite vocal and my dogs were very focused on them, unfortunately. We spent a lot of time trying to call them back and redirect them.
55We had the best morning for the start of Hannibal's birthday week! Parking was easy, the host had toys, poop bags, towels, water bowl and a hose for rinsing the dog off afterwards. The yard was very clean and the dock was a blast seeing him jump off of. Even with the rain it was a great first time using sniff spot! We will be making this yard a regular spot for a swimming fix.
55Great relaxing spot! I am so grateful the owner is willing to rent out this property! Toys available and water! Thank you!!
55This is the perfect spot to bring your water dog! It’s difficult to find a place to play for my dog who absolutely loves to swim, and I’m so grateful that Chau is sharing this space with us! I brought a chair and a book and let my dog enjoy some serious lake time. Chau even left out towels! We will be back again for sure.
55Wonderful experience!! Serene lake, puppy jumped in water for the first time. Clean, nice toys, and towels left out.
55Wonderful as always! We love this spot, especially on sunny days.
55What a tranquil beautiful spot!
55My dog had a blast swimming and running laps around the gorgeous yard. We’ll be back!
55What a great yard! The direct access to the lake was amazing, and our dogs just jumped in. There isn’t any indication when the mud/water starts in the right corner of the yard, so our dogs did fall in at first (just something to keep an eye on). They figured it out quickly and it wasn’t an issue. There was a hose to use which was so helpful, and the yard itself was extremely well kept. We will absolutely be back again!
55Second time taking my dogs there and they love it!

The backyard is fully fenced (better for small dogs). 🎾Toys & Supplies: Plastic Container by the table 💧 Water: Fresh water is provided 🗑Garbage: Trash bin near the table ✨ Lights: Currently, we don't recommend booking after sunset since we haven't put up sufficient lighting up yet, but we will soon! Have fun!🩷

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Please be careful when walking on our floating dock since it does get slippery after it rains. Also, the dock does shift around since it is floating on the water. Occasionally some ducks come up into the yards and leave dropping. We try our best to clean it up but we might accidentally miss some, please don't give us a bad review. Thank you so much!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries! Toss garbage away at the top driveway as you exit in the large gray bin marked "Garbage".
