25I keep finding dangerous materials onsite: rusted nails & screws, glass, and last time rusted beer can I'd host could do a thorough sweep to clean up, then it would be a GREAY place.
55My dog Kato and I just moved to the area from a place where there is lots of space for him to roam. I heard about SniffSpot on Reddit and gave this spot a shot first. I am so happy I did. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Kato had the whole space to himself and the bins of toys were really exciting for him. One hour was all we needed to have some fun, stretch our legs and get tired of course. I will definitely be coming back for a doggie play date I have in mind!
15This spot was a huge disappointment. I’m not clear as to why it had so many good reviews other than people are just desperate for private space for their dogs. I’d like to start by saying I’m not generally a complainer or a Karen. I’ve never given a one star review to any service I’ve used before in any industry. I generally prefer to review places if they made me happy. However, I believe people deserve to know what they’re getting in to. I planned a month in advance to meet friends here for a lovely afternoon out and drove an hour to find the best rated place I could. Firstly, it’s just a back yard. There is no separation from the house. There was lots of dog poop and pieces of old torn ip dog toys all over. Stuffing from plush toys and ripped up nylon pieces. All obstruction risks if ingested. Also, the yard is not really fenced. The entire side of the “enclosure” that faces the street was only contained by flimsy ex-pens. Not secure by any stretch of your dig is medium to large or industrious. Very disappointing overall. We reversed for 90 minutes and my friend only used 30 and o my because we were there. I did not let my dogs into the yard at all. Oh, also no clear signage until you’re already in this what otherwise appears to be some random back yard.
55Awesome spot, overall. Large and open, a great place for a big dog to run. Fencing is not super sturdy-looking, as mentioned elsewhere. But it was tall enough that my big dog who doesn't test fences felt securely contained. The fencing is open to the street and we saw multiple people and some horses walk past, so perhaps not the best for very reactive dogs. The dog on the premises (in the house) was completely silent and calm, but did put his head through the curtains a few times to watch our dogs (who did not notice him, though!). My dog came home with a few burrs and a foxtail, so check your furry pups over, but the yard was clearly maintained and as clean as is possible when it comes to weeds. We'll be back!
55Beautiful yard, spacious and clean! Loved the abundance of toys!! My dogs were kept very entertained!
55Wonderful large area with plenty of room to run full tilt. My dog had a lovely time. Thank you!
55This was our second visit to this spot. There were even more toys than before and my dog enjoyed playing with a variety of them.
45Great spot. Rationale for not rating itb5 5 stars is the potential hazards. There are many holes (gopher? ) I was concerned my dog's foot may get stuck and twisted.
55Sooo many fun toys for the pups to use & snacks! It’s so much space, my dogs enjoyed it!
55Great spot for what our furry friend needs currently!

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
