55The place is amazing and completely fenced off. There's also plenty of shade and sitting area where you can chill and relax while your pup runs around. Us and our dog had a lot of fun. Emmie was an excellent host, she showed us around the place. She was warm, friendly and our usually shy around people pup loved her. We're definitely coming back.Sameeksha T.

55Peanut had a great time here! It was a perfect way to spend the day with my pup while my teenagers hung out at Great America. The property is beautiful and perfect for off-leash adventure. The host is super sweet and Peanut loved meeting her. Sarah T.

55This was our first time here and my dog had a lot of fun! This is a big property with secure fencing all the way around and a variety of places to walk and play with your dog. There's a great mix of shade and sun, too. My dog really enjoyed the different levels of the property, jumping up to explore in the tiered part of the yard. We played fetch and spent a lot of time walking around and letting him sniff. Then we put a mat out for him and did a bit of training, too. There are some small construction projects going on in various parts of the yard with things like stacks of bricks, ladders, buckets, etc but nothing dangerous for dogs, if anything it meant more interesting things to sniff! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and we didn't see anyone walk by the front gate or in any neighboring properties, either. Mimi was very communicative and helpful. Elizabeth R.

55My aging, dog selective girl loved it! It can be pretty noisy with the construction and trash facility nearby (a bit smelly too), but once she adjusted she had a blast! I did not see any water/bowl so bring your own if needed. There were some tennis balls provided as well!Jess Q.

55This was my first visit to this spot. The astroturf was great. No worries about foxtails like I’ve dealt with at other Sniffspots. The area is in the back of the building, and parking was a little challenging because I wasn’t sure exactly where to park to make an easy entrance through the gate. The only other challenge for anyone who has reactive dogs is that there was a car parked right in front of the entrance to the Sniffspot with a barky dog. I walked to the entrance first without my dog to figure out the easiest route so as not to disturb the other dog. There were other dogs barking in the area- again, didn’t bother mine, but would definitely set off my other dog. Steve came out to check on us, and we were doing great and enjoying the sunshine while playing ball and tug.Gretchen L.

55Loved our visit. Such a large field for my pup to run around and it has turf so you don’t have to worry about foxtail weeds. Balls and water was provided, just make sure to bring your own water bowl. Can’t wait to come back.Bianca G.

55TL;DR Bay Area K9 spot is great and we will definitely be regulars here!
We brought our two dogs and they had a blast running around the open field. It was exactly as we expected based on the pictures, the turf was in great condition, and it was super convenient to have a reserved parking spot right in front of the gate. A few things to note - make sure you bring your own water and bowl. It was nice and warm today and our pups drank a lot of water! It’s also located in an industrial area, so there are occasional noises like large trucks backing up/beeping. Not a problem at all, just something for future visitors to be aware of in case you have skittish dogs. (One of ours is sometimes sensitive to sounds like this, but she didn’t have a problem here). Overall it was a great experience and we’re so grateful to Bay Area K9 for sharing their awesome yard!Sarah K.

55Area was clean and provided lots of space for my dogs to run! Bring your own poop bags and water. My border collie loved having space to run and play ball without getting dirty. My other dog was a bit scared just because it’s surrounded by a lot of work going on so just be aware if your dog is startled by loud noises like mine. (: otherwise we had a good visit and will come again. Brooke N.

55Wonderful SniffSpot! It’s a large, clean space for our big dogs to run and play. The ground is fake grass and perfect for our pups. Bring your own water. We will definitely be back for our dog’s play date!
Host (Steve) quick to respond to questions about parking if there are more than 1 cars. One can park in front of the SniffSpot and others must park on the street (Memorex Dr.) Gigi J.

55This was a great spot for the dogs to just get some energy out when it’s been rainy and grass is super wet! It was super clean, easy to find, owner is super responsive just overall a good experience. I brought 3 dogs. Two of them were having a blast. One thing to note is that it’s next to a lot of construction so if you have a skiddish dog, it is pretty loud and there are some scary noises sometimes so one of my dogs who was adopted was scared a little bit but overall a great experience. Will bring my dogs here again most definitely. Jacqueline K.

55Great place for your pet to run around, train, and play. The field was clean, although I would keep the construction noises in mind. My pup was scared of it at first but after a few runs back and forth, she eventually got used to it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a safe, enclosed area. tammy l.

FAQ about our Los Altos Hills dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Los Altos Hills area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 97 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
