We have more than 2 acres of fully-fenced in property that features a large lawn as well as ample "wooded" areas for your dog to run in and explore. There are also a handful of large boulders for your pup to jump on and off of.

Warning, short but somewhat steep hike up. Property is used as a campsite on most weekends but is usually free on week days. The entire property is 5 acres but there is a cliff that suddenly goes up at the end of camp so it probably makes the space where you would walk more like 2 acres. Maybe just one. I’m bad at guessing this. Unfenced so dogs must be on leash or have great recall. There is a fire pit but you would need to haul your own wood up a hill so I doubt you want to do that! Lots of brush. Lots of sniffing to be done. Feel free to use chairs and hammock but please do not go inside tent or use my wood. It’s hard to haul up there.

This is a farm and an animal rescue. There are cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, goats and horses. If you have reactive dogs we recommend letting us know in which case we’ll make sure our dogs are staying inside the house. We also recommend keeping your dog(s) leashed du the farm buildings to keep our farm animals safe. Once you’re walking up the hill there are several trails to choose from, open fields as well as forested up on top. There is a tiny little brook coming down from natural springs on the hill so your pup(s) can cool off or have a drink.

Enjoy about 200+ acres of beautiful hills, mountains, creeks, apple orchard, farm animals (goats, chickens, horses) and non labeled trails. The trails are alittle rocky & sometimes muddy dependent on what time of the year of course but you most definitely will run into some wild creatures There are also dog friendly restaurants a few miles away and airBnBs in this area that you can enjoy :)

Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers). Come enjoy the beautiful scenic view of Schoharie Valley! You and your pup can enjoy our 55 acres of fields and woods! There is a small stream that runs through the woods for you and your pup to enjoy! Multiple wildlife roam the property! If possible, I like to meet new guests first just to give them a lay of the land! I’ll provide you with a Google image of the property so you know the boundary lines! I also print out a list of local dog friendly eateries as well as other small cafes and shops locally! I provide a garden hose to rinse your pup off if they get a little muddy! And towels to dry them off! I typically have out a few tennis balls amongst other toys as well! And some treats for your pup to enjoy! 😊 Can’t wait for you to come explore Boreali Farms!
