This is a nice mowed space with some woods and a pond . You may see some wild animals such as deer, turkey, or fox . Please keep an eye on your pet near the boundary lines . Swimming is at your own risk and the edges may be muddy , there is no life guard . The boundary is up to the wall on the left willow tree straight ahead and pond on the right . There are benches for sitting . This is new for us and will have more amenities if this is something people and pets will want to come and enjoy . Be aware across the pond is a house that does have dogs and chickens, but do not come out to the yard on that side .

Fond Fawn Farm 8 Acre Orchard Pond & Creek Doggie Nirvana

Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers). Welcome to The Vista, a 30-acre outdoor space, with 15 acres for dogs and owners to enjoy. The area includes three main sections: an open field, a pond, and hiking trails. While there are no visible animals or pets on the higher levels, neighbor dogs may occasionally be visible at a distance from the lower areas. Wildlife is active and may cross your path—please avoid interaction when possible. This is an unfenced, off-leash location, and we cannot be held liable for dogs who are escape artists! Our pond spans 20 feet across and over 20 feet deep, with an almost immediate drop-off when stepping in. The pond is spring-fed and stocked, so feel free to swim, fish, or float during your visit (anytime between June and November). There is no electricity or formal structure, but you are welcome to set up a tent or umbrella for shade. This is a carry in–carry out site, so please leave no trace behind, including your trash. For twice the fun with your furry friend, consider upgrading to camp overnight! A porta potty is onsite, but there is no water or electricity available. Please note that security video surveillance is in place for safety. **A kennel club uses the lower field on Wednesday nights and Saturdays 10-5. There WILL be dogs within view, at a distance, during these times**
