Great sniff spot. Lots of flat land for the pup to run. Area is right along the road so if you have a car reactive dog it might not be the best spot. Otherwise we had a great time! Good place to practice recall
Awesome Sniff Spot! The dogs had a great time and we had a large group with no issues.
The place was a little hard to find but we managed to figure it out.
My first time using sniffspot- went great! The driveway to the property is very small and unmarked, I blew right past it on the left, but found it no problem when I turned back around. Grass is dry and crunchy as it should be this time of year, fencing is vinyl horse fence- more of a visual barrier for the average sized dog, but we knew that going in. My mutt had a great time despite the heat, and we'll be back!
Early AM visit to Bellinger Hill. The hay has been mowed--yay! Our pups, Cisco & Annie, had a great time; they especially enjoy the bushes along the fences where mice & squirrels (and all their wonderful scents) hang out.
My dog could get through the fencing but they're very transparent about that so it wasn't an issue. My dog had tons of fun there
The grass has been cut and it’s ready for fun! We went two days in a row! We’ll likely be back tomorrow too. It’s a great way to safely wear out my guy in the morning, so holiday weekend evenings of fireworks go by easily because he’s still crashed out from running hard at Bellinger Hill. Can’t say enough good things.
Don’t think I mentioned this in last review but the other great thing is the parking situation. It’s a good ways off of the road. It gives a good amount of space if you want to dust off the dog after play, give water, etc. It works quite well as a pause point before and after.
They have a great big pasture and it was fenced for as far as we could tell. Our dog loved roaming Around and smelling everything. We would definitely come back to here. Parking was close to the gate to get into the pasture as well.
The grass was VERY VERY tall and there were tics. Make sure to check your pups and ensure that they have current flea and tick medicine. Aside from that, our pups really did have a great time which was nice, but I am unsure I would return until the grass is shorter. The photos shown were not what we saw when we were there.
My dog loves to run, this is absolutely perfect for him. The grass was very high which I did not expect, sometimes I couldn't even see where my dog was running and he found some goose eggs 😂 he did pick up some ticks. Otherwise this place is perfect. Will definitely return.
We love it here but hadn’t been in a couple of weeks. The grass is super high (above my knees) and my dog picked up quite a few ticks. We’ll be back once it dries out a bit or the grass gets a good trim :)
Annie & Cisco had another fun afternoon at Bellinger Hill. The tall grasses—some flattened from deer that had likely spent the night—were full of the scents and smells dogs love. We walked the interior pasture two times ; A&C played on leash, but spent most of the time with their noses down, exploring. The only drawback is the fencing; it’s not secure enough for the dogs to be off leash & the pasture is next to a busy road. Perfect, otherwise.
Our dogs had a great time bounding through the field. Great location, thanks for offering up the lower pasture through sniffspot!
Our dog had a lot of fun here! He really enjoyed running through the grass playing ball. The fence is easy to slip through so we kept a 20ft leash on but he still had a great time. Host was friendly and we’ll definitely come again!
Great spot! So much room for dogs to run without the worry of any other animals being around! Definitely coming back on the regular!
A friend and I love to use the lower pasture as a spot for our dogs to play for a couple hours every few weeks. The parking is super easy for our 2 cars, and we haven’t had any issues with other people or animals being around. Once there were some horses out, but they were in another field and our dogs were able to ignore it. Occasionally the neighbor across the street has their dog out, but it’s also far enough away for our dogs to not notice it.
The lower pasture is not level ground and has a few large holes in it, so we do our best to throw the ball in a direction the dogs won’t hurt themselves. But this is not a reason for us to stop going, and we plan to keep coming back. I love this spot and it’s such a quick drive from west Medford.
This sniff spot is great! We’ve been coming here with my dog trainer to work on my dogs fear of traffic and other animals. It’s nice to know we can work on training in a peaceful space without a lot of extra distractions. The grass is very long so I recommend hiking boots or rain boots to keep your feet dry
Great spot, super convenient for some off leash time when on a road trip!
5 STARS! (Don’t know why it shows only one…?) Beautiful lower pasture, but not securely fenced. Our two collies enjoyed a leashed romping and sniffing session. Hope to use the fully fenced arena on another visit. We’ll be back!
Can’t get over how much fun my Rhodesian Ridgeback has every time we go out there. He comes home worn out. All of the things to sniff and the little birds that appear in the fenced pasture are great to chase! We love it! Photo proof of a pooped pupper, thanks to our Bellinger Hill adventure.
Lori was very kind and welcoming! 😁 if it wasn’t for the fact that we live in Washington, we’d be back 100%!
Love this place! My friend and I used the lower pasture for our 3 dogs. It’s huge! We reserved a 2 hour spot which was perfect. The pasture is perfect for playing fetch and running off a ton of energy. We will definitely be back a lot!
We had a blast! We only used the front right arena, but it was huge! My Ridgeback ran for 30 minutes just going side to side. Fair warning, a little horse poop, so heads up, but it’s a horse arena, so that’s expected. If you use the map app on iPhones, it will take you to the edge of the property, I had to turn around but not by much. My dog is now passed out cold, we will definitely go back!!
First time there - was a great intro . We went right after a rain so it was a bit muddy ; although my puppy didn’t mind . Can’t wait to go back and explore more .
So much fun! The forest, field or paddock, they’ve got it all. Our pups loved it. A little more description on the booking as to where things are (we almost went in with our dogs where the horses were) would be nice. Maybe a little map? Thank you, we’ll be back!
We only used the big flat pasture. Dogs enjoyed to run and sniff and play.
This is a WONDERFUL Sniffspot!!! We have three very active dogs and the lower pasture was a perfect place for them to run and play. They spent 1 1/2 hours just running in the field. Lots to sniff. Very clean. The pasture is huge. Lori invited us to explore the treed area and the sandy horse arena as well, but our dogs had such a great time running in the pasture they didn’t need any further play. I would highly highly recommend this Sniffspot. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Lori was extremely communicative and very friendly!
The pasture was great for our girls to run and play. Next time we will come a little more prepared with balls or frisbees, but this was an impromptu visit. It is a horse pasture with a canal (lined with BlackBerry bushes) along one side, with fencing around the rest of the pasture. The pasture is big and is plenty of space for multiple dogs to run, play, and sniff. With it being so close to Central Point, I could see us coming here often.
This was the perfect place for me and my two pups to play! Easy to find, and such a great area for playing fetch and all sorts of things for everyone to sniff! I will 100% be coming back. It was such a treat!
