55My little one got to see the horses for the first time, I told her to tell them thank you for all the gifts to roll in. ;) All three pups went home happy and tired!
55Maude loved it, she enjoyed running around and checking out the new spot.
55I'm so happy to have Penny Acres as an option for my dogs. I brought my elderly dog today and he explored the property and then stayed in the shade when he was tired. Meanwhile, my younger dog got to run around all she wanted. It was a great visit for both of them!
55Always the perfect Spot! We celebrated Annie’s 6th birthday here. She & her bro had fun chasing their balls & cooling off in the pool. Thanks, Kerrie, for setting out the pool for hot summer days!
55Penny Acres is dog heaven! Huge area for dogs to run, shady lawn area for resting or for the older dogs. Very clean and tidy all around. Kerri is a gracious host and has thoughtfully provided a storage closet with toys, brushes, books and everything you might need for your visit. Peaceful pastoral setting. Perfect!
55Lots of fenced in room to roam, toys, and drinking water made for a great adventure today. Happy dog! Thank you.
55You can see the care and intention in this space. Happy to have found such a great place to entertains the pups. Thank you for making it available!
55What a great host with a passion and love for animals that just so happens to have a great piece of property. We love this place and the dogs love it even more!
55Love this farm! Large and fully fenced acreage is exactly what my Anatolian Shepherd needs. So much sniffing to do and a barn to explore, and we both enjoy the sights and sounds of farm life. Thank you so much for the thoughtful care you put into Penny Acres.
55It’s a huge place for your dog or dogs. Lots of fun animals around you outside of the dog area. Lots of fun for my dog.

Description

Updated 1/2024 HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you find whatever you are seeking for your new year's goals. I want to thank you all for visiting and often returning! And for your patience as I have cleaned up the property, tried to make it usable and comfortable for your visits. I am welcome to ideas, suggestions, requests. As we go in to the colder, wetter months, the seasonal creek will be flowing soon. I will add more towels in the closet, feel free to use them! The elk have made several appearances which made for an exciting visit for some guests! I have rotated the horses through as the grass has been coming up and will continue to do so as needed. ** Remember, if the calendar is closed, you are welcome to send me a message. I may only need to quickly move the horses back for your visit ** Some plans I have in the works for this coming year is a few more trees to put in the pastures, I will add another bench for an option in the front field directly behind the barn. I am trying to figure out how to fence and secure the far back pasture that goes down into the ravine, although so far it has not posed any issues that I am aware of. We are continuing to add gravel and cleaning up around the barn, including fencing around the backyard area that sits in front of the barn. Feel free to use the tables, the swing, whatever is out there. I have a few yard games (corn hole, croquette etc) I am happy to put out. My bigger projects are finishing my “little library” cabinet, and I am hoping by the end of Summer to have a SELF SERVE DOG WASH WITH A BLOW DRYER! I am always open to suggestions, ideas and whatever else. I appreciate all that have visited and look forward to making new friends in this coming year. More gravel will be added as we dry out to make parking a little easier. Kerri and all my farm family! * Just a reminder that it is always flea and tick season. We do not treat the pastures with any spray so be mindful about using whatever treatment your vet recommends. * This is first and foremost my horses supplemental feed supply now that the grass is coming on. That means the horses will be over there more often. And that means extra "sensory obstacles" aka piles of horse poo .. I do drag my fields as time allows. But that is in short supply these days and usually doesn't happen until closer to the fall.

Hello my name is Kerri. I have lived in Sams Valley for the last 14 plus years. My husband and I have one daughter and a small hobby farm with just about everything you can imagine roaming around. We are very active in our 4H/FFA community and enjoy supporting the youth in Jackson County. I happened upon this adventure and am looking forward to being able to offer our place for you to enjoy with your beloved fur kids!

Welcome! First-time guests receive a $5 discount with the coupon code "TRYTHESPOT24". Conveniently located less than one mile off Interstate-5 at exit 103. This exit features a gas station, Grocery Outlet, Tesla charging stations, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply (dog toys!), A&W, a donut shop, Dollar Tree, and more. New play feature added: King of the Spot! Dogs only on the play feature please - not for humans to climb on. This approximately one-acre park is fully fenced with brand new 5’ tall non-climb wire fencing. There are two gates for access: a walk-through gate if you choose to park on the wide gravel shoulder along the road, and a drive-through gate which allows you to bring your vehicle inside the park onto a large gravel parking area to unload your furry friends. Inside the park you will find a gently sloped grassy field with some nice flat areas also. There is a brand-new 12'x14' covered shelter to keep you out of the rain or hot sun. We have also installed a real, vintage fire hydrant for your dog’s “enjoyment”. Some rock wall terraces about 2’ to 3’ tall can be used for sitting, and for your larger breed dogs to jump up and down on. There are Adirondack chairs and a large wooden picnic table for the humans as well as the dogs (our Lab loves to jump up on top and take in the view). A water hydrant provides fresh water from our local municipal water source, Tri City Water, and you will find water pails for every size of dog. Nearby is a mailbox with doo doo bags, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and paper towels. You will also find two wooden crates: one filled with an assortment of toys, and the other provides a nice stick library for your pooch to choose from. Please note: both gates open inwards into the park. Seven or eight months out of the year you will find green grass (and weeds), in the summer months it will be dry dormant grass. The park is always kept mowed and there will be no tall grass or weedy areas. We do not spray any herbicides or pesticides of any kind inside the park or along the fence lines. This park does not share a fence line with any other properties and there is a wide perimeter around the park on three sides. The fourth side is along Crest Drive, a medium trafficked residential road. There are some neighboring small dogs along the back line that will say hello now and then, but there is a 80’ buffer between the fence lines on this side. We respect your privacy while using the park, and even though we would love to come over and play with every dog visitor and say hello to their humans, we will only meet you by specific request. Generally the park is available to book during daylight hours, but there is some flexibility for your special requests. There is a nice light right across the street that lights up much of the park nicely at night. If you choose to park your vehicle inside the park, please open the gate slowly so that it doesn’t swing against the post too quickly. Both gates have combination locks on them. The current code will be provided upon scheduling your visit. This is a non-smoking park. Alcoholic beverages and drug use are also not allowed in the park. Please do not play loud music in the park. If you are ever unsatisfied with your visit for any reason, we will gladly contact Sniffspot and request a refund. We are appreciate your visits and are happy to share this space with you and your dogs. If you have questions about your booking of visit please call 541-530-3922. Thank you for choosing the Grace Park Sniffspot!
