Location

Description

Hello!!! What a wonderful site I found! We have 17 acres in Sams Valley and it is split between several pastures. I do have dogs that are locked up as well as a plethora of farm animals. During the wet season, I have a pasture with a pond that is filled with seasonal rain. This pasture has field fencing and electric fence. I also have a pasture that is just field fencing, about 3 acres and no pond. Long range chuck it. The back side of this pasture is not fenced and backs up to a large hay field across a deep seasonal creek. We are close to Raineys Corner Market. It is a good way to expose your dogs to a wide open spot, work on recall, let them swim and stretch and wear them out for a good long nap. Feel free to ask any questions! I will be updating with photos soon. The pastures are surrounded by my horses and the neighbors horses .. it is YOUR responsibility to keep your dogs from wandering in to their space. Again, feel free to ask any questions.

I always enjoy this spot. My dog can run free, explore some old empty stalls, and I can sit at the charming round wooden table under the shade of a big tree and enjoy the sights and sounds of farmland and nature. Horses, cows, sheep, burros, and far off I spotted a llama. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

Got out there right around sunset tonight- Logan had a blast, and we loved the scenery! Thanks again for letting us use your space!

A relaxing visiting as always. We walk the perimeter of both pastures in between tossing a frisbee and they never get bored of investigating all the smells. My silly Remy is still checking for the seasonal pond to come back, I keep telling him it’ll be a while! ;) He takes to dipping in the big water bowl instead!

    Awesome play space for pups!!

Super peaceful place. The horses that surround were a nice treat to watch. But beware that they have been in the field before so there is some horse dung piles around. Zoey, my dog, was loving running around and experiencing all the new smells! We will definitely be back.

Host replied: Glad you enjoyed the visit! And yes, the horses definitely leave "pasture presents" during their grazing time.

Wide open fields for running surround by quiet horses. Peaceful. Friendly and accommodating host.

A gorgeous day as usual! My two LOVED how soft and lush the grass is right now. We also noticed and appreciated the update to the pasture gate, Keeps curious little corgis from sticking their heads through :) My pups always leave happy and tired!

Host replied: I was hoping that would work on the fence but I see my horses enjoyed it too! 🤣

Just a little muddy, considering how wet it's been! The pond is full, the stream is running and Logan was in his element today! Thanks again!

Host replied: I'm so so ready for some drier days!

Super big! Plenty of room for dogs to run! Very communicative! Definitely one of my favorite places for my young pittys

Host replied: Thanks for trying us out! Looking forward to meeting your pups 🌞
