Private Play Yard and Pool with Heated Patio

Toby was our beloved rescue that brought much joy to our family for 11 years. He loved playing in the yard! It makes us happy to see other dogs enjoying Toby’s former stomping grounds! Please come enjoy our large, natural grass, and fully-fenced yard. Our home is easy to locate and has lots of easy parking, too.

We are on a little over an acre. There are 2 sides to our yard and they are separated by a few fences. One side has a private pool, the other has grass and natural landscape. Both can be enjoyed by you and your pet(s)! There are gates to keep the side yard and our personal patio above and near pool separate. Each available play area has a private gated entrance from our front drive. We hope y’all enjoy!

Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass and smoking are prohibited. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again. Our backyard has plenty of space for your furry animal to roam around and play.

We have a large (real) grass enclosed area for our backyard with a little doggie pool, mattress to sunbathe, and access to a sprinkler for the fur babies to play. There is seating for the adults and water for the dogs to drink.

Our home in Glendale is so beautiful for dogs and humans to enjoy. We have a fanned Arizona room for the hot summer days. This includes tv and water for you. Plenty of toys for the pups and room to run around in. There is a nice shady orange tree as well 🙂 And a little kids playground if you want to bring your child!
