Description

We have a large private fenced yard that sits in a heavily wooded area. There is a very large pool with several covered areas for shade. We do have a bee yard that has 3 working Honeybee Hives that are typically not a problem unless a dog decides to go near the hives and then the ladies will protect their house. Most dog aren’t overly interested in the hives but it must be noted that they are there and can be provoked by a nosey nose😉 We allow 2 adults per dog reservation.

*You will be able to park on the street in front of our house or we have one parking spot in our driveway with designated SS sign and enter the backyard through the gate at top of driveway. *We do expect dog parents to be monitoring their dogs even while enjoying the pool. Our pool can be pretty relaxing and it will be easy to forget about everything else☺️so please watch your pups! We love when our dog parents get in and enjoy swimming with their pups but the Pool is primary for the pets. *Please be mindful of our working bee yard that contains 3 working bee hives. The hives are easily visible but typically do not have issues with anyone playing in the yard or pool area. Only issue would arrive if dogs attempt to get near the hives as the bees will become aggressive towards intruders near hive entrance. Bee yard is a very obvious area. *Please SEND YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME or anyone driving a car into our neighborhood. This allows me to have you listed on our guard gate guest list. We accept 2 adults per dog.

Wonderful spot to let your dog off leash! We do have 2 dogs in a dog run to the right side of the property near the house. They are very friendly but may bark out of excitement when you arrive, but Reno and Milo are super friendly. They will not be in the area for your dog but there is a small portion of shared chain linked fence. There is also plenty of space to play with your dog that isn't near Reno nor Milo. Some parts of the year there can be stickers in a small portion of the front yard. This doesn't seem to be a problem for short hair dogs at all, but your pup might get a couple if they have fluffy poodle hair or long hair. Every now and then 2 of the neighbors along the back side of the property have their dog in their backyard. Your dog will be able to see through, as the fence is chain link on the backside. The property is so large, there is definitely room for privacy, however. If you need to use the waterhose, it's on the left side of the house! When you arrive the first time, simply text me thrive the app and I'll let you in the front gate and show you around! Hope to meet you and pup soon.
