Private Dog Park on Frog Hill (In Mission)

Come & enjoy peace & quiet on our beautiful rolling acreage. We have a few trails as well as open spaces. There’s a even a small creek so you might want to bring boots! Or come at night, and take in the moon & star 🌟 gaze - breathe in the country air with your furry friends…it’s beautiful out here!

Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn, i.e. diggers welcome!!

Stay out of the rain or sun in our indoor private training room at Tug Dog Training and Coaching. This is a private 50x50 fully matted (Dog agility mats) room separate from our main training hall with its own entrance. This room also has training mirrors on 2 walls which some dogs may notice, and dog trainers will appreciate! This is a large space suitable to film virtual title submissions, work on various training skills, or just have a great time playing with your dog indoors! The parking lot is shared with our main training hall, so there is a chance there may be people and/or dogs in the parking lot during your booked time. If there are classes going on next door, you may hear people talking or dogs barking from the other room. Sessions booked during the day have the least chance of seeing people or dogs in the parking lot. Some agility equipment is available upon request (jumps, tip boards, small teeter, ladder, weave poles). You are welcome to bring your own training equipment provided it is clean and not damaging to the flooring. Rally equipment seen in the cover photo is not provided. This room stays cooler in the summer and fans are available. There is also a tap for fresh water for the dogs. Wifi password is on the information board. We would prefer to meet you on your first visit to help you get oriented with the location so you can have the best time with your pup! Our spot is located in the Roosevelt neighborhood. Our property is a tad over a 3rd of an acre. We offer a discounted rate to folks who sign up for our membership. Parking is located directly in front of our sea foam green (lol!) house in the grass. Please don’t park in front of our neighbors grey house. Back yard space has a concrete patio with chairs, fir trees for shade. Yard is fully fenced, a very small dog could possibly squeeze through at a couple spots by the gates, so check the properties perimeter. Garden is fenced off to keep pups from harvesting our veggies early. Please don’t use the trampoline or enter the garden. Deer can be seen in the retention pond beyond the fence occasionally. Fence is between 5ft and 6ft tall. Deer don’t like our backyard due to our own pups so they aren’t a concern. Our yard is 420 friendly and brews are ok too! There is a recycling container on your way out the gate for cans or bottles. Garbage for poop is right next to the entrance gate. Relax after a long day in our backyard with your doggo, just like you would in your own! We just ask that you are respectful and clean up after yourself.

We generally offer these fields as part of our main spot, but have opened them up as a standalone when we need access to our fenced yard or driveway. These fields are unfenced, but private as they back onto woods/bush and not a road/neighbour. We live on a hillside and have stepping stones to connect the side and lower field. I would recommended wearing footwear appropriate for a small hike. Street parking only. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD

DEEP SNOW HERE! AT LEAST A FOOT OUT BY THE GATE. WOULD SUGGEST WAIT UNTIL WE GET SOME WARMER WEATHER AND RAIN. WEATHER ALERT: If you are checking the weather online check the Ferndale (98248) weather. The Bellingham weather stops at the Smith Road. My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: I have a new young dog who is still learning about socialization and is a bit on the vocal side. I apologize if this is a problem for your dogs. I will try to keep her under control. This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dogs bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. The garden is done for this year so if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

Fully fenced 20 acre space that has a large front field (with mowed perimeter & cross paths) and 10 acres of beautiful, lush forest in the back with maintained trails throughout. Things are drying up, just a couple mudholes and fast shrinking seasonal ponds left in the woods that disappear by summer. Expect a dirty dog if they can't resist these areas - yard hose available. First time visitors automatically receive a customized message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

Thanks for booking our backyard as your private dog park! There's a parking spot available in the back alley and you can access the backyard on your own. Just look for the "Be aware of the dog" sign on my door. Do NOT use the front entrance! We'll make sure there's fresh water available for your furry friends. Please remember to clean up after them to keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone. Hope you and your fur babies have a blast! Welcome to Abbotsford's first official SniffSpot! We're excited for you and your pups to check out our large fenced back yard. It's conveniently located in East Abbotsford, along Highway 11. Our fence is approx 5 feet high. Exceptions are a small fence along our patio and a pile of dirt in one corner (see pictures). There is a gate at the right side of the house to access the yard. You will need to go up a set of stairs. ***Charges will be in USD***
