Description

This is a farm and an animal rescue. There are cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, goats and horses. If you have reactive dogs we recommend letting us know in which case we’ll make sure our dogs are staying inside the house. We also recommend keeping your dog(s) leashed du the farm buildings to keep our farm animals safe. Once you’re walking up the hill there are several trails to choose from, open fields as well as forested up on top. There is a tiny little brook coming down from natural springs on the hill so your pup(s) can cool off or have a drink.

You can walk around the house after parking to the back where there’s a deck to sit and watch you pup play or you can continue up the hill to greener trails that lead past a small orchard and up to a forested area. At the top of the hill you have a scenic view of the house, pond and greenery. It’s a great workout and very relaxing. Your dog/dogs will love the freedom the property has to offer. We do have our own dog which will be in doors during your visit and there are dogs across the street when you first park so please be mindful of your dog is reactive.

He is the last one and we are at an age now where we probably won't be getting another dog; so, we want others to enjoy the land. Feel free to use the wash stall inside the barn (hot water and hoses are yours to use), there is also an outdoor fountain, water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about a three mile walk / run.
