I would love to leave a 5-star review because the property is really nice, but they had their dog tied up in the yard, which is not far and entirely visible from where you park. It didn't bark at least but was staring the whole time we were by my car. That rather defeats the purpose of spending money to rent something private especially if you have a reactive dog.

Host replied: Our property is our home. We work full time jobs and you booked a 5:00pm visit at 2:30pm the same day. Our dog is our first priority and being in our house all day he deserves to be let out when we get home. Our dog’s tie out is strictly for when guests are here otherwise he free roams his property. His tie out is exactly a 106 yards from the trail entrance! Of course he is going to look when people arrive, if he needs to be out due to his needs as I’m sure any dog owner understands. And the fact he didn’t bark at all should speak volumes on his behavior.

Nice secluded spot. Part of the trail runs along a road. Took less than 30m to walk the trails. Just an FYI, we were there in fall and people were definitely hunting in the area and you could hear gunshots. If your dog is super sound sensitive and bolts easily at loud noises, might want to keep them on leash during the hunting season

Great location, secluded wooded area with maintained trails. Great exercise for dogs.

This was my third visit to this spot. The hills are so good for wearing out my pups physically and the woods is great sniffing to wear them out mentally. Wear bug spray!
