Description

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) after work and weekends tend to have more shooting noise during hunting seasons. * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

Please respect the area . Please pick up after your dog, bags and garbage are provided. The small yard is just the entry please proceed to the large fenced in space to enjoy Sniffspot. Agility equipment NOT including in sniff spot rental. Do not leave any dogs unattended at anytime, and use a leash to enter and exit the property. Feel free to walk the property to see where your dog may like to play, there are spots not visible from the house area your dog may go. Please do not allow dogs into the fenced in pool area. If they get under the fence to the pool the gate can be opened by pulling UP on the knob. And if winter cover is on it is able to hold hundreds of pounds of weight. I’ve been involved with dogs most of my adult life from the moment I could own my own dog I have. We’ve had giant , large and small breeds over the last 30 years and I have really enjoyed learning about each one of them and finding ways to enrich their lives. We currently show miniature dachshunds regularly both smooth and wire and compete in some performance events. I love hosting because I see dogs being freely “dogs” and lean into their natural beings, I wish that I had had a safe space like this this early in my life with my first dogs. We hope to share this experience of having a great space that is secure onto you. All dogs are welcome!
