Description

Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Overall, the spot is quiet but please read the detailed sections about people, dogs, and domestic animals that can be seen/heard from our spot prior to booking. HOST NOTE

We have seen bunnies, squirrels, and groundhogs on the property. There are a few holes in the ground from dogs digging and we do patch them but they tend to get dug right back up quickly! Dogs will be dogs :)

Confirm with me via message how many guests will be attending and we will put out adequate chairs. My husband and I live near Chadwick lake in Newburgh and enjoy spending our time in the backyard or park playing with our dogs, Milo and Arthur. We put in our fence to allow the dogs more freedom and love sharing the space with our Sniffspot guests. Seeing other dogs happy in the yard has been very rewarding for us!

60 acres of forest and trails on a woodland preserve. Past our property is the Appalachian Trail. Canopy shade when there are leaves. There are little streams, logs, rocks and all sort of areas for digging, running, jumping and sniffing. There is an upper trail and a lower trail and they both loop together. Up the trail to the right is a deck with chair and table and supplies. You can watch your dog in all directions from this vantage point as they run free and smell all the smells of a forest.
