25Lots of property, but grass very high, unkempt. Maybe mow prior to charging someone to visit. I booked my visit weeks in advance. Advertised that there was a place to swim, but the entire stream was blocked by 4 foot shrubs and trees. Really wanted to take dogs swimming, quite disappointed. We left.
55Perfect for playing fetch! so much land to roam around and easy access to the creek (the human didn’t have much space to stand by the creek).. really fun and can’t wait to go back! -loki
55Super lovely acreage- the boys loved it. The owners left water and a trash can which I wasn’t expecting and appreciated. Really cool pavilion so we could do some training. Lots of shade and rolling. The creek was perfect on a hot day- my dogs aren’t water inclined but they both went in. You could hear dogs across the street- which was good as we’re working on conditioning. Overall 10/10.

Description

Ample room to run or take a swim. Bring your own frisbee, balls etc and romp away. The pavilion provides shelter from hot sun or sudden showers. Enjoy beaver, heron, bald eagle sightings….pack a picnic and relax w your furry best friend by the side of Wappingers Creek in the hamlet of salt point. Park is winterized so bathrooms/available Mid May-October.
