West Newton Oasis - City Retreat

I’m lucky enough to have a private backyard in Somerville, where extra space is a rare commodity. Fenced, with some ground area and some brick-paved. Play with your dog or relax on the deck furniture (swinging rope chair, hammock, table and chairs) while your furbaby explores, sniffs, and enjoys their freedom. Plenty of street parking; visitors pass available to borrow.

Our beautiful fully fenced backyard has everything a dog could want. Wooded area for exploring, an large open flat space for free running and fetch, and lots of sticks for carrying around. We have a box of toys for your use and enjoyment. Feel free to use the hammock, recliners, and patio furniture. Please use our water hose, exterior outlets, and upper screened in porch. An indoor restroom is available (for the human haha) just inside the screened in porch. For night time use, we are happy to turn on the back flood lights for you. A flashlight is also available (along with the other amenities listed) inside the large white storage trunk along the back garage wall. Please park on the left side of the driveway. We can’t wait to have you!

Suburban setting featuring a variety of play areas for designed for dogs both open and with equipment. Access to outdoor sink with clean water, bowls, seating and shade. Small pool for wading on warmer days. Enter onto cement patio sanitized daily with table and chairs. Graveled play area opens up to larger grassed yard for running or playing fetch. Quiet neighborhood and corner lot with off and on street parking. Fully privacy fenced area suitable for both larger and smaller dogs. Wifi available on request. WINTER USE OF THE SPOT: We would like to keep the spot open as much as possible in the winter. Here are some guidelines for its use during the snow season. The City of Marlborough does not permit on street parking in the winter. This means you will need to park in our driveway. We make every attempt to plow, sand and salt it for safety but cannot always guarantee conditions. If we cannot get this done or do not feel it is safe for guests, we will close the spot during a storm or post storm for cleanup. We will assess this each morning and from time to time cancellations may occur. We do not use dog safe salt in the driveway, so please use a foot covering for your dog as you would in any public area if your dog is sensitive. In the spot no chemicals are used. The yard will have snow and we generally do not plow pathways unless the snow gets a foot or more deep.

Welcome to our backyard! We know how valuable new experiences are for dogs and how being off leash to run, sniff, and play is good for dogs' physical and mental well being - and ours, too! Our privacy fencing and large yard allows you and your dog to have a safe place away from unfamiliar people / other dogs. It's great for getting your dog some different sniffs and letting them off leash for a game of fetch!

My single family home has a huge fenced-in yard. Plenty of room for your pup to play! I have one dog- Maci Belle. She will play if you want or stay inside.

Please enjoy the space andhave fun., just try to stay away from you small garden. UPDATE: a guest gave me great advice so the very next day I blocked the gaps under the fence see last two photos. I care about your buddies..

Join us for ~1/4 acre of fenced in fun! The yard is level and easy to run around in or just relax and enjoy. We have 6' privacy fence and a nice shady area under the trees :) We have one dog of our own who will be inside during your stay. You may see people out front or inside the house but the backyard is yours to enjoy. We will give you space with your pup. This spot is in a neighborhood setting.

Quiet cul de sac, plenty of parking, dog friendly neighborhood

Large wide open fenced in back yard great for any size dogs to run around in. We can provide toys (frisbees, tennis balls, footballs) if you'd like. We have two dogs of our own, got the house because of the great fenced-in backyard space for the dogs. Summer time we have a canopy up above our picnic table for rain/sun shade. Winter time, after snow, we would plow a large circle around in the back so the dogs can still run around easily. We know it’s hard to find a secure place for your pooch to run around freely, so we decided to open up our yard space for those who needs it!
